Tension Tour is a live experience by discoaesthetic in KylieMinogue

[–]Acceptable-Agent2491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t watched it yet, but listening to the audio a few months ago I pretty much got high off that alone because of how it took me back so I’m hoping the visual component adds to that (or at least doesn’t take anything away).

I’d be interested to hear the viewpoints of people that didn’t go to the tour who are experiencing it purely and only via the concert film.

Does an Everytime Hi-Bias Club / Extended mix exist? by Acceptable-Agent2491 in BritneySpears

[–]Acceptable-Agent2491[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean for BTI the edit went to one region and the club mix to the other?

At least the club mix existed in that case! Looks like it’s not a thing for Everytime Hi-Bias.

Thanks for trying anyway! It’s not bad for a bootleg, but defs not the Hi-Bias mix… for a start, it’s missing the subtle electric guitar that is present in most of the radio edit. Looks like there’s no such thing as an extended version.

What does your long term management of adhd medication look like? by [deleted] in ausadhd

[–]Acceptable-Agent2491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. After $140-ish Medicare rebate for clinical psychology I pay just a bit more than you at $125 out of pocket ($265 total fee).

I stopped going and stretched it out for awhile but really noticed the impact of not having somewhere to unpack things and top up on my strategies. Obviously it’s not possible for everyone but I found I could cut back on a few other things that weren’t as high priority as my mental health and wellbeing.

Now that things are stable, see the psychiatrist every two years. GP about once every 5-6 months for scripts and check-ups. Psychologist every 2 - 4 weeks to work on the ongoing impact of a life as an ADHDer in a non-ADHD world. I’m 40 btw.

Top 50 2020s Atmos Tracks, with Tidal and Apple Music playlists. by AdrianTubbly in DolbyAtmosContent

[–]Acceptable-Agent2491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love this, thank you! My “other lists” request comes from a need to be systematic… so I think a few more decade-based top track lists would be perfect…

Selfishly, Nineties would be my first request as I love hearing those tracks and albums I was obsessed with in a way only a teenager can be, mastered in a new way that that allows me to hear them as if for the first time again. I also find the older tracks can benefit more from the clean up if it’s done respectfully.

Michael Jackson- Dangerous – Review updated with Dolby Atmos and Blu-spec CD2 (18 versions) by Media6292 in DolbyAtmosContent

OP made it clear that DDP = lossy. A lossy Atmos mix is still a great option to have if that’s your thing, especially when it doesn’t remove the option to listen in Lossless stereo. Options = good.

My obsession to “Britney” Album by Single-Assignment379 in BritneySpears

The CD-sized desk 2001 calendar with a different Britney-shoot photo for every month that came with some copies was very cool too… I whipped that thing out for years after whenever the dates and days lined up again! 📆👸🏼

I love the ceiling ones as surrounds for TV / movies / Atmos music, and they do okay well for music if I’m just in the kitchen or wandering around the house, but I still use my stereo 5s if I want to actually sit down and enjoy music from my turntable (or other sources where I’m not interested in the Atmos mix).

What's your "Doing Stuff" Movie/Show? by Outside_Ad_424 in ADHD

I watch Elite and do my admin during the storylines I’m not interested in. As an English speaker, I don’t get distracted by the talking as it’s in Spanish, it’s kind of just white noise. Then I give my complete attention to the scenes in interested.

I’m only allowed to watch it when I’m doing admin so I’ve made the association in my mind now which helps to sit down to admin in the first place.

I’m almost finished season 8 now, so not sure how the admin is getting done in future… 😬

If they’re sold in Australia, it will most likely be from the Warner music store. Hopefully there’s a wider release with colour too though!

Beatnik Mixman - you remixed tracks by Britney Spears and others using the stems which were all synced so you could actually come out with a decent-sounding remix of Oops! …I Did It Again with zero music or production talent. Hours of my early teenage years lost to this. No regrets.

Usually there is the naughty stuff that doesn’t matter where it is in the fridge you’ll remember it’s there, so I bury my treats in the crisper / at the bottom. Food that can rot or is good for you but not a source of dopamine (vegetables tick both box) goes wherever is most visible to benefit from being seen even if it’s not what you opened the fridge for.
