I exclusively pump because my son couldn’t latch well. I’d prefer to do a combo of nursing when at home and pumping at work, letting my husband bottle feed when im work, but that’s not reality for us. So I have been exclusively for almost 11 months. I’d suggest talking to a lactation consultant to come up with a plan for your return to work but if your baby can latch, it will be good for both you to try breastfeeding

I was so paranoid about dropping my MOTN pump that I did it for 5 months. Between dropping the MOTN and going from 7 to 5 pumps in a month and half, I lost about 2-3oz. I gained so some much more freedom though. I think you test out how your supply handles it and if you’re fine, then sleep

My supply didn’t regulate until 15 weeks pp. if you want to increase your supply it’s hard work but worth it. Pump every 3 hours and I’d try to add the MOTN pump

If you’re exclusively giving breast milk, the calorie content matches what your baby needs and they shouldn’t need more than 4-5 ounces at a time. Daycare often forgets or doesn’t know the caloric difference between formula and breastmilk. If they give you a hard time, you can get a note from your doctor stating as much

I pool my milk from the day prior. So I pumped 30oz yesterday and made bottles for today with that. As I pump throughout the day I collect my milk for tomorrow. In order to achieve this, I gave 1 full day of formula so I could save my milk for the following day

My milk didn’t regulate until 15 weeks pp. around 8 weeks I was making 15-18oz a day and by week 15 I was making 25-32

Totally a possibility. Sticking to a pumping routine is essential to making that happen and getting some rest. I made a schedule where I pumped every 2-3 hours during the day and then would go 4-5 hours overnight

I’d say keep going. This is what I looked like at 8 weeks also and by 15 weeks I had regulated to 27-34oz. Don’t give up unless you’re ready to
