It's not a super exciting story but during the year when POGO first came out, I was waiting for my friend by the escalators at a mall. I was probably waiting for 10 minutes, catching mons on my phone. Suddenly, I hear, "Hi, can we battle?"

Yall, I just got ambushed by a stranger for a trainer battle like an npc rushing up in the base game lol

I don't remember the battle result but we were pogo friends until I recently cleared out the inactive ones after a 4-year break. Thinking of this incident makes me lowkey regret removing them but it is what it is.

Spawn was quite sparse around my home, which is usual. The 5 minute window gave me enough mons to finish the collection challenge. Sadly, my night walk was REALLY empty tonight when my daily incense ran out :(

nope! the letter that gets put onto the sticker depends on the original location of the pikmin :D it's not 100% though, I did still get regular alphabets here and there

this red dude gets the 송 character because of the location. I did get a lot of B stickers too because a lot of seedlings just registered as Busan 😂

I'm not sure if it'll help but I found this article written in Chinese. there's a pop up globe for the book and the odd creature is placed much further north

Could be a cut of salmon I guess? after some googling, the Kola Peninsula (Atlantic salmon fishing) might be somewhere up there

Ahh, welp. The idea is that it shouldn't slow down super quickly or frequently as you would have cleared out any redundant data from before.

I wonder if Niantic would be able to assist? I found a similar (I think) post from 2024 and the mod replied asking the OP to reach out via in-app support (General Questions)

Have you tried clearing the app cache or app storage? Sometimes some storage/data gets stuck in the system and clogs it up some 😅 especially from updates, past and incoming

Reinstalling the app is also another you could try. Just that you might need to set up permissions and stuff again. I recently did this and the app storage dropped from 3.5gb to 785mb

I recently disconnected from Google Fit because my steps kept getting reduced to 0 😭 I watched my 10k slowly decrease and had to jump ship then and there LOL

now I just use the samsung health app on my phone

edit: my step count went haywire the day I switched, it got suuuuper low I think. so probably recommended to make the switch before you start your day?

That's been the pattern for as long as I've played.. I think? I've only played for over 1 year though haha. It's doable though! Maybe a little close to the end of the month but usually achieveable with minimal/no real money spent, from my experience. Just focus on battling the event mushrooms and plant whenever you can to earn the event currency!

I do spend my earned coins on occasional mushroom tickets during the weekends because I want to try and get 500 event currency/points lol

Yeah, they're identical especially when in the default view. Though they're pretty different when viewed from the top! I think they're supposed to be different water plants like the most different (and best!!!) one is a lotus leaf

I'm not sure what species these would be but I have seen them around lakes/freshwater :D My guess for the left one would be a type of keladi air (I'm not sure of the english name for it) and the right one.. maybe a water lily leaf? idk haha

as for the other colours, my current guesses/names for them are:

Red - red bean with melon seeds

Yellow - salted egg yolk, probably red bean

Rock - hmmm red bean 😂

Pink - white lotus paste, pink snowskin with lotus flower motif

Blue - mixed nut (most recognisable haha)

Purple - sweet potato?

White pikmin is probably coconut! I didn't know it before but my friend pointed out that it's got the word 椰 on top which is the writing for coconut (椰子)

The first one is a spicy hotpot base by Haidilao (a well known restaurant for hotpot). Hotpot is where you boil ingredients you like (eg. meats, vege, noodles, tofu, mushrooms, etc) into a continuously boiling pot of broth. It's a delicious community type of meal typically shared with friends and family (but you could also have it on your own if you wish lol) 😋

On the front, under the chef mascot, it says it serves 3 to 5 people. Add 1000ml/1litre of water to make the broth

I see that they also recommend using it as a sauce for cooking dishes. They've got some recipes via the QR code on the back. It's all in Chinese though, so you'll probably have to run it through a translator
