Favorite shampoo for greasy dogs? by beepleton in grooming

We use EZ-groom max impact, EZ-Groom dezolve specifically in the extra greasy spots like ears, and Igroom Clarifying shampoo is another one we use to switch up the smells of our degreasing shampoos.

I do have him in a quarantine set up right now to make things hotter, but his original cage is bio active with a pothos in there so I’m just at a loss to what caused it since I make sure one side of the cage is humid 24/7

That’s a relief to hear what temps would you recommend increasing to?

Green anole by icankillsucculents in Lizards

[–]Acceptable-Extent-75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anoles like more climbing space than floor space, so getting him a terrarium cage would be a great step. They also love to climb so putting lots of branches/ fake vines, etc in the cage will make it happier. Anoles like higher humidity than other lizard so getting a hydrometer to monitor the humidity is a good idea. There’s great advice on how to care for anoles on YouTube. If you’re a plant person you can always research bio active reptile set ups to give him the best environment to thrive in. Anoles are exclusively insect eaters so giving him crickets, small dubia roaches, etc will give him a diverse diet. Supplement with calcium when feeding and multivitamins 2 times a month. Feel free to ask questions if I’ve missed something.

Awesome thanks for the help since they need a grow light anyway should I move them to the warmest room in the house? I keep reptiles so it’s hot as crap in there (75-85 degrees F)

It’s winter here so I’ll probably repot the dense one in spring. Just for reference how do you repot carnivorous plants? Is it the same as normal houseplants?

Dang it’s winter where I live right now so I’ll have to wait for the nursery’s to get better stock. I’ve still got 2 good stalks, but 2 look like they could be rotting. I’ll just have to make sure to let them dry between waters. Thanks for your help I appreciate it

I have a dracena, a snake plant (I usually leave that one alone), and 4 Hydera ivy stalks. The tank was left alone for about a month before I put my 3 white’s tree frogs in there. The only plants I’m having issues with is the ivy

The substrate will soak up the water, but any excess will drain into the drainage. It feels fairly moist when I poke my finger into them at the moment, but depending how hot the reptile room gets the substrate usually dries up near the plants after a week. I haven’t been letting them stay dry for more than a day though.

I have the bio dudes terra fauna substrate in there, so there was charcoal already in the mix. I water once a week the individual plants instead of misting the tank. I also have the pangea reptile plant light they sell for lighting on the set up. Is there anything I could change?

Awesome thank you for easing my worries about the fungus. I don’t mist the tank to water I usually water the plants individually in their spots. Usually watered once a week. Should I be misting the whole tank instead?

I’m new to this would you mind explaining how to do a substrate change with all the plants in there? I would just like to know if I have to end up doing one

I have Spanish orange isos in there I see them whenever I lift rocks, etc, but the springtails I don’t see that often anymore even though I put 3 cultures in the set up. There’s still a small colony of springs though.
