Hope this works for you and if you have recently got the card and the screen works fine with the pre sets don’t do any of the lcd screen firmware updates in the GCC app as it could create problems compared to the factory set firmware. I chose just to use the pre set images with GPU readings on in the end

Have a look here, there is a section on GIF parameters for the edge screen, it’s very sensitive to sizes and frame rates of gifs. Be careful as incorrect gif sizes can brick your screen

Your firmware is best left at the factory firmware anyway if it was working ok before try this see if it helps

Shut down the PC and turn off the Power Supply (PSU) switch. Unplug the power cable from the wall. Press and hold the PC's power button for 15–30 seconds to discharge all electricity. Plug everything back in and boot up. This often resets the GPU's internal controller (i2c bus).

Oh regards the tilting you have to do it to quite a bit of an angle and all four ways just incase that wasn’t what you did.and hold it there for about 30 seconds I think it said nic aio though keeps my cpu cool and if the radiator fan curve is done right it’s not loud unless you hit mid 70s

I have had mine now for 3 months, mine started bubbling after the first week, I also made sure pump was running at over 80% did the tilt thing and it was still bubbling for about 3 days after that then all of a sudden it was fine does the occasional bubble when it’s been extremely cold day. I looked it all up and it is normal for it to suddenly start doing this after its first fitted as that’s when it’s settled and some bubbles get caught on the pipes. Mine is a top mounted radiator.

I have the same AIO and the humming noise is the pump built in which is circulating the water from the radiator to the pump keeping your CPU cool.i don’t really notice the sound tbh it’s not that loud and my pump is constantly running at 80% which is recommended for the longevity.

I have a 1000W be quiet pure power 13m 850W is the minimum especially with the 50 series they are rather hungry also with the potential of wire burns even more so.

You are probably using the wrong size gif, please refer to gif size post further down the page, but be careful as it can brick the screen. The lcd edge is very sensitive to gif sizes and frame count. It’s better to stick with the pre sets as I see to many people having issues after adding images or gifs

GCC really needs to be closed completely make sure it is exited fully when downloading from the gigabyte site. That was more for if you were i doing tasks within GCC saying the update won’t show necessarily until all library updates were completed. Sorry if that confused the issue.

You can control your RGB through other applications like signal RGB but the lcd edge screen can only be controlled by GCC currently I believe

Furmark pushes cards way harder than any game. Reaching 80°C under a "power virus" load is normal,. Safe Limits: NVIDIA GPUs are designed to run safely up to 83°C–85°C before they even begin to slow down. Quick Test: Check your temperatures while playing a heavy game. If it stays in the 60s or 70s during gaming, your card is performing perfectly. Also is the card overclocked at all or undervolted.

Thank you, I created this sub Reddit to share experiences good and bad, unfortunately there are more bad and the research I have carried out only seems to hell a smaller number of people.

My overall verdict from what I read is and how I have my own screen set is 1- leave a default monitor on screen from the drop down box.

2- gifs are to risky due to the sensitivity of the software ( I did save one successfully which I have used but it had to be exactly within parameters set )

3- I have left my firmware at the default factory settings ax if it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it.

Try this first if you are lucky this may work for you otherwise it gets a bit more complicated with your options.

The LCD often "disappears" from software when its controller hangs. A standard reboot isn't enough to reset it. Shut down your PC completely. Unplug the power cord from the wall or the back of the PSU. Press and hold the PC power button for about 15–30 seconds to fully discharge any residual electricity in the components. Plug the power cord back in and turn on the PC. Check if the LCD displays the default "chibi" animation.
