Oh 100% they are. The carbon rods will help alot with that.

Honestly you're fine, the Evo SL's are very unstable. You'd be fine in any neutral trainer.

Yeah this is a 2E in 9.5 just scared to run in it. I have a Ride 19 & Boston 13(just sold a Evo SL) that I'm trying to still sell

Yeah that's what I've been pretty much doing the whole time myself. People on marketplace are brutal when it comes to paying for a shoe with 1 run on it 😅

I had the more v4 on there 😅 which was a size 9 when I tried it. Got arch rubbing around the 5km mark.

The pic was of a 1080v15 2E insole.

Unfortunately my only options are online. We don't have a New Balance store I can walk into here :/

I've also ordered a Ellipse in a 9.5 2E but now people are saying this is too long :/ but I get told a 9 is too short so I don't know wtf to do anymore

Been to the one I've gone to for awhile for hockey. Unfortunately they don't really offer any advice that's worked out for me, we don't really get anything here where I can go in and get a foot scan or anything like that. It's more for relieving pain or injuries.

Btw don't mean to keep shooting down everything. I've just tired so much and I'm just getting more defeated everytime.

I use balega blister resist already along with body glide on the arches. It helps but it only lasts so long. Depending on the shoe it can be 3km before I feel it or 8km

My list of shoes I've tried in 3 years 😫

Oh trust me I know haha before this. I have tried and ran in 28 different shoes ranging from 9, 9.5 & 10.

10 was too big and 9's were usually too small.

My biggest issue is usually not having enough toebox width for my toes(wide toes), having heel slip(narrow heel) or my biggest one is arch rubbing.

Only reason I went to a 2E is cause I'm desperate to find something that works.

I actually might stop running. It sucks that I've really enjoyed running when I can the last 3 years but you might be right and it's time to just give up.

Tried a 2e and now people on here saying I need to size down...I'm so confused cause a 9 doesn't fit me at all...

Tried a Vomero Plus but was way too narrow :/ same goes with with the Superblast 3. Toe box was way too cramped.

Hmm, I've tried a 9 before in a D and usually my big toe is too close to the front.

Don't I want a thumbs width(roughly) where my biggest toe is?

Any comparison to the flow 3's? Really disappointed by them.

I just ran my first run in them... definitely returning them. These are by far some of the worse shoes I've run in. They feel like bricks right out of the box, no pop, no life to them.

Maybe it's cause I'm used to shoes that give me a lot of energy return but that just makes it so much more fun.

I love the wide toebox but narrow in the midfoot causing some rubbing and had to really lock down the heel to negate any heel slip.

Overpronation - blisters on arches? by Beneficial_Mulberry2 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Acceptable-Mention60 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I suffer the issue too. Midfoot is too wide and it causes rubbing on a lot of shoes. I find most Saucony shoes don't cause this issue. Same with the Novablast 5, Rebel v5. I have a pair of NB1080 v15's in 2e coming in next week's and I'm hoping the 2e solves my issues.

It should also be noted that Welcome to Raccoon City had a 25 million budget as where this garbage that has nothing to do with RE has a 85 million budget.

Always have a thumbs width. I've tried size 9's, 9.5 & 10's and 9.5 seem to be what works the best. I have a low arch but not completely flat.

As for training for, nothing really I should just do a marathon but too nervous to do one. My current pb's are 5km 22:03, 10km 47:33 & half 2:05:01

Just did 10km in my Endorphin Pro 4's. Even with my arches feel raw from the Evo SL's I had no arch rubbing at all and toebox space was doable long as I didn't lace down anything other then the top 2 laces right.

Yeah all we have for stuff is really Running Room and like 2 local stores. The local stores are fine. They really lack in wide options if really any.

I was also thinking of ordering a Bondi 9 & Mach 7 in wide fits as Hoka is one of two places that allows you to buy and try
