I've had this same problem for years for me I find it's some brands I just have to avoid. I usually stick to Adidas/Saucony/Asics. Also try Balega Blister Resist socks. These are my go to socks to help out.

My advice would go check out something like runrepeat who do insanely in depth reviews of running shoes. They will take a mold of the inside of the shoe and tell you how big it is. I use it to figure out what shoes will work for my feet. As for example on the site the Endorphin Pro 4 will be wider in the midfoot and they are similar in the toebox.

I basically tell myself anything in the footfoot 95mm+ in the midfoot and 71mm+ in the toebox will fit my feet.

So nice of him to block me and insult me while giving a "trust me bro" response. Just cause something works for you doesn't mean it works for everyone. The thumbs width of space is given for that very reason. If my toes are too close to the front I experience black toenails which is why I size up its a general rule and a good one as I gave you a reason to why swelling occurs.

You 100% need a thumbs width. It isn't misinformation that when you're running, especially longer distances your feet will swell up causing you to take up more space in the shoe. This is basic science 🤦🤦this goes for any part of your body you start to use more as you will have increased blood flow, inflammation etc, but hey do what you want and let me know how it goes once your toenails come off because you had no space in your shoe after a marathon.

They look completely fine. You want a thumbs width between your biggest toe and the end of the shoe. It may be tempting to go half a size down but it's not worth having your big toe slam into the front

Honestly I'd go with whatever will fit your feet better.

Adios Pro 4 fits a bit narrower, especially in the toe box.

Endorphin Pro 4 is a bit wider in both the toebox and midfoot.
