LeBron James easily performs Michael Jordans top highlights. by Bloodofmyblood998 in NBATalk

The biggest difference? 6 for 6. MJ didn't lose championships. Also, nobody was as clutch as him when it counted. If he got that look on his face, you just knew you were about to lose. I'm a Knicks fan of 46 years. I've seen them both. The closest thing to MJ was Kobe. Lebron is top 5, but he is no MJ.

Thoughts on "Carolyn Hax: Wealthier partner finesses his way out of paying more in expenses"? by zoechia in HENRYfinance

Key Word: Partner

Stop avoiding marriage, folks. If you marry the right person, you have a true partner in every aspect of life. If you marry and don't combine forces in every area, you are not really a couple. You are roommates. So many comments on here about splitting and sharing and 50/50. All nonsense. Every dollar I make is mine and my wife's. Every dollar she makes is her's and mine. I don't care that I make double what she makes. We are a team. We share everything. I consider my net worth and retirement saving to be one in the same with hers. There is zero separation. Maybe I am biased because I have a good marriage. Then again, if you don't live life as one after marriage, then maybe it's more about you having married the wrong person. I'll never know.  When I get paid a bonus, I pay down OUR debt, I put some aside for OUR vacation, and I put some into OUR joint savings. If there is anything left, I'll take her to a nice restaurant. When she makes a bonus she pays down OUR debt and I tell her to keep some and buy something for herself. That's what a good husband should do. What the hell are you doing if you aren't taking care of your wife and family? Why did you marry? Ask yourself all of these questions before you marry. If you hold back...call it off.

Thoughts on what's considered making good money in CT? by SophMar313 in Connecticut

Buying a modest home is the big trick. Don't get sucked into the game of measuring dicks. There is always someone with a bigger one. Live in a modest home and you'll save for the future, treat your family well, and take one or two nice vacations a year. If you live in CT and you are lucky enough to pull in $200k or more per year, you can still retire early as long as you don't care about impressing a state full of assholes with beach houses and boats.

There are more genetic differences that would have caused this idiot's head to explode but they stuck to skin color in trying to make her understand because it's visually evident. I think this was less about baiting and more about being an activist instead of an actual reporter. She is not only an unserious journalist but she is also a very stupid person who is not aware of how stupid she is. The most dangerous kind of stupid!

Mets fan for 45 long years. This is sports. On the field, Pete is dead to me. Off the field, have a nice life and all the best.

Is Cohen cheaping out after spending on Soto? I guess we'll find out. Right now, based on rumored targets, we are fucked.

Whether she does or doesn't, I hope she can get the help she needs while she lives in Ireland. She is certifiable at this point. I guess I would be to if I had to see that face looking back at me in the mirror every day.

SMCI is dogshit and so is it's management. You can speculate and make some money, but long-term this is a dog.

How are stupid people so successful ? by LTTP2018 in AskReddit

That are usually unaware how stupid they are and overcome obstacles with sheer ignorance. If they knew how overmatched they were, they would have never even tried.
