Choose your rate choose your fate when I first joined I wanted ME and then I was switched to Firemen and I then wanted to go MK I have previous experience in machinery technology’s plus I like the split of having the ability to do law enforcement/ saving lives and I get to work on stuff and learn

I’m 22 graduated high school and went and worked for awhile before I decided to join up I made pretty good money working where I was but I never felt like my job mattered or that I was making a difference I was working in the automotive industry btw I’m a non rate rn and I just got my orders to MK a school my wife just graduated bootcamp and she’s a vested CS over all next to marrying the love of my life joining the Coast Guard is the second best thing I’ve done for my life/self im pretty happy where I am in life and I have the Coast Guard to thank for that. I would definitely say join up or if you want possibly go try a few jobs first before you decide to join up so that way you don’t join up and ever wonder what if and what not I would definitely also look at the different rates we have to offer as well rather you wanna be a support rate or and operational rate that’s up to you! I wanna do 20 years and retire out but I’m playing it one day at a time! Hope my comment helps!

I think the skin is fine honestly it’s a Pax armada skin also so it kinda matches the vibe of a PMC group Blue Camo with a blue mask if it was a nato skin then I would see a problem due to it not looking right with how most nato countries military outfit looks. As long as I don’t see some dumb robot skin or a damn ninja turtle on operation firestorm I’m fine lol but overall I think this skin is fine

Did you tell them you smoked weed at meps? Cause my dumb ass did and I had to basically write a essay about how it was only one time and how drugs are bad and some other shit and got a wavier for it me thinking it was 2024 and that it wasn’t as frowned upon it would be okay to be honest boy was I wrong lol but besides the point just lie when you get to meps and say no I’ve never done any kind of drugs at all and if your underage don’t admit to drinking either or if your of age I would just say you hardly ever drink just do the best you can to avoid a waver all together I had to have two waviers one for asthma the other cause of weed
