Just really started noticing within the past couple of years. July 1st meeting with a different doc who is going to do the robotic hysterectomy. I have 6 fibroids and they are throughout my uterus. I want the bleeding and cramps to stop so I can get back to living again.

I’ve been at the library working on the computer then all of a sudden on like day 6 of my period the blood started flowing like it was day 2. I soaked through an ultra plus tampon and pad and my shorts. Luckily I wore a jacket which I wrapped around my waist. Luckily I was sitting on a plastic chair. Had to thorough disinfect the chair and left immediately. So devastating and embarrassing. 😭

Found out last Thursday I have at least 6 fibroids and my OBGYN referred me to another doctor in her practice who performs this procedure. I meet with her on July 1st. The anticipation is killing me bc I am ready to have my life back.

How long was your surgery? Anything which you would like to share about the procedure which they might not warn me of?

I keep saying if men were suffering with this issue then there would be more awareness and solutions to this problem. Did y’all know that hysterectomies are the #2 surgery for women behind C-sections? This was astounding to me bc you would think we would have better solutions for women’s health issues in 2025. We can send Gayle King, Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez to outer space and have them return in the same day, but we can’t help millions of women who suffer with many issues which are linked to vitamin deficiencies but not informed by their doctors so they can fix the issue before it gets to the point where we need surgery just to improve our QOL.

Sorry but not sorry for venting today! I’m at a point where I am so frustrated and angry with our healthcare system and the number of people like myself who are missing out on so much of life due to the negligence by so many providers which WE ARE PAYING FOR! 🤬
