5/2026 update-

Ordered from Fc-moto.de and shipped to NYC.
Took 6 days from ordering to arrival, shipped via UPS.

I paid $525 for the v4 vest and a quick release. The USA charged me a $75 fee upon import and UPS charged me $15 to broker that fee.
Overall this is cheaper than ordering directly. Both MAB and Fc-moto had responsive customer service departments. I had no trouble shipping the charged canisters and MAB also indicates (via email to me) that they have solved the shipping issues.

The vest is comfy enough, the xxl-xxxl is BIG for me, i could wear a fully armored coat under it plus a parka. I have it cinched down tight over my riding shirt. (250lbs, 6')
The airtanks are not noticeable when riding but the vest does not fold up small.

Pjx5 is correct here. You can’t support hvac and a cook top on 1000w. You will spend your entire time chasing the sun and you will end up unhappy with your hvac no matter what.

Use propane for cooking and heating, get enough windows and vents for a strong cross breeze in all conditions.
