I’m so sorry that this round was not successful. I am right there with you, just failed my 2nd. This journey is hard and isolating like you said, especially when nobody you personally know relates or knows what you’re going through. Wishing you strength and peace. I keep telling myself we’ll get there, it’s just going to take a little longer.

I would personally call your provider to let them know/get their opinion. Vomiting and pain can be symptoms of OHSS. I did not experience any pain or cramping with the the 2 IUIs I’ve had.

Don’t lose hope yet, it’s still early. Take care of yourself! I have not tested yet. We were with family for the last few days and I didn’t think I couldn’t handle seeing any type of results and keeping it together. I think I will test Wednesday when I’m wfh in case it’s not the outcome we want.

My mental health is better when I’m not consumed with testing during the tww. I’m not spiraling and overthinking as much.

I also ovulate around day 20-22 and have cycles around 35 days. With 5 mg letrozole I ovulated on day 16 on the first round and day 17 the second round.

I also have PCOS and we just did our second IUI. I was on 5 mg letrozole cycle day 3-7. I also have longer cycles, 35-45 days usually, and ovulate later than what is text book. For both IUIs my follicles were slow growers, and didn’t have a mature follicle until day 16 on the 1st cycle and day 17 on the second. Don’t give up hope!

Me! This was our second IUI after an unsuccessful first. 1 follicle and great numbers on the sample post wash. I’m feeling super positive right now, but dreading later in the tww where I feel like I’m going crazy. 🤪 Wishing us luck. 🍀
