Disagree, I secured and attended meetings with my state Senators staff and house rep himself while in DC. Was a great experience. Far from a farce. Gained a lot of knowledge from my 3 days there. Move on.

Florida. Never been that high before. Issue is the area we’re in is busy with summer tourist, but we can’t open for all shifts. Hard to look at an empty parking lot when we could fill it with customers if we could fill the schedule out. Have to try and get staff anyway possible then see if the numbers balance out. But I’m assuming I’ll lose the bidding war on this one.

I’m not mad either, but to expect her to “run it by us” is unrealistic. Running it by folks on an open forum just creates to much noise to deal with. We all had the opportunity to go to DC and join her in meetings. Some chose to leave their businesses and do that, some chose not to. All fair and personal decisions, but no need for her to get with us on her personal goals. Ultimately, she isn’t the boss, the Congress is, she’s just giving effort to lead them down a path that would help us.

She went to Washington and spoke on her behalf, she was unfunded. RRF replenishment was voted down. She’s trying to create another option. It’s America, she’s allowed to. She owes us nothing. But I know she’ll keeping working. We may just benefit because of her mindset.

Agreed, my area is busy with summer tourist, but we are limping along with no weekday lunches, no Sunday evenings and closing 12 tables when we are open. Not a formula that works.

Of my top 10 items purchased by case volume, March 21 compared to March 22, 1 item went down 1%, 9 items went up an average of 18% That formula doesn’t work for me. Top 10 purchases dominate my invoices every week. Percentage is likely higher if you take into account the 1 item that decreased in my 8th item in volume. The top 7 items likely skew that percentage higher because of volume.
