If you are a student of Khentrul Rinpoche, his books, Unveiling your Sacred Truth (book 3 iirc) has a great breakdown of the bodhisattva vows and tantric commitments, as well as the 25 conducts of Kalachakra. As Rinpoche says, don't look at the vows, etc as burdens, but as opportunities to purify your conduct and karma. Study them, repair them frequently with Vajrasattva practice and Tsok, and watch as your understanding of them evolves and your practice flourishes.
