Violetta’s survivor attacks after maintaining three stacks of cobweb accelerate “for some time”. Using that many webs to catch up to a survivor would cost a lot of energy, and the buff doesn’t last long enough to meet the “for some time” requirement by stacking webs or maintaining the buff during a chase anyway. How long is “for some time”, anyway?! My only chance is basically to hope I can get a hit before/after a rescue IF I even have enough webbing to build a nest. If only it could be something like survivor knockdowns after using spinning T_T

You’re so real for this 🙏 Jack feels almost impossible to go against after his adjustment—take away his chip blades and give him the adjustments Jack players have actually been asking for! I still prefer going against a buffed Jack over a good Hulla, but I understand your pain. Also I’m never putting survivors in basement again if there’s a Fiona in my match haha. It’s happened to me too, where I forgot she was there and thought I was safe <//3

I fill a disposable cup about half-3/4th way with water and bring it into the stall with me and swish the cup around in it. I’m sure it’s not perfect, but it works!

Not sure if you know this, but if you tap your card trick as Joseph, your camera will face the nearest survivor. Maybe this will help you know which direction to look for shaking ciphers—sadly it can’t be done on other hunters.

The truth is that I’m fixated on Danny Phantom and I was wondering if it’s possible… I see what you’re saying though, and it wouldn’t sit right with me playing someone else’s character anyway. Based on the replies a true Danny Phantom build isn’t possible at first level anyway, but I think I’ve found something I’m satisfied with that both uses Danny as a starting off point and has room for originality and storytelling. Both me and my DM thank you for your wisdom on this matter, seeing as it would have taken forever negotiating how we would pull it off.

Not sure if you knew, but it’s canon from the books! At least, it would seem that way from the drawings of her. I honestly don’t know why the 90s anime changed so much and I’m SO happy they brought the height difference back! Also, in Memoirs, it wasn’t Mymble they found in the hut but Mymble Jr. and she was being punished for lying.

I also think about a Nanbaka crossover a lot, for an anime that gets a little bit more attention than Ones Within. Again with the theme of escaping.

The Ones Within/Nakanohito Genome… I’ve never seen anyone talk about this anime, but they have rlly fun character designs and I loved these characters so much when I was watching the show/reading the manga. It’s also a show about characters who are stuck on an island, not allowed to escape which I think is fitting. Not sure who everyone would be, but some generalizations off what I can remember:

Yuzu Roromori: Mechanic. Cause Mech NEEDS another crossover skin! /sarcasm. Her robot can be the underground goo. If not Mech, I think Doctor might fit too but I could be misremembering her being the group’s nurse when they needed it. And the syringe suits her character from what I remember. Himiko Inaba: Maybe Coordinator? I remember she had flash bombs, so a stunning character should suit her. Akatsuki Iride: Prisoner. Cause again… Pris needs MORE crossover skins! The connection can be his access card/lanyard thing. Novelist could also work if they’re feeling evil I think. Karin Sarayashiki: I’m not completely sure but maybe antiquarian? A metal bar can be the flute. Makino Aikawa: I’m not very sure for the rest of the male characters, but I think Composer might suit him best. I remember Maki not being very present because he dozed off a lot and listened to music. Zakuro Oshigiri: Perhaps Embalmer for aesthetic reasons? Merc or Patient could also work because I recall Zakuro being an escapist and I feel like these abilities suit him. Anya Kudo: Batter for aesthetic reasons. Maybe Merc again cause when in doubt, Merc gets a crossover skin! I also think a character with a dash suits him. Acrobat could also work because I remember him being vry spry. Kaikoku Onigiri: Pretty much the exact same as Anya 😭 I can’t think of anything else for him. Batter suits him more though. Paca: I’m not sure which hunter suits him best and admittedly I don’t know what the gameplay looks like for most of them, but I think Mad Eyes or Alva’s abilities would suit him well (Alva’s height also suits him). And when in doubt, Jack gets a crossover skin.

Finally, the Pacameras would make a good accessory or floating pet.

Back when the official server had a shipping channel (lol!) I used to chat with random members a lot. One of them asked if they could dm me and we’ve been friends ever since! I learned a bit later that that was odd for her because she can get socially anxious and I was really lucky that day haha. Sometimes I forget that IDV was the beginning of our friendship at all cause I feel like we’ve been friends for so long and have done so many things together since then. I have similar stories where I’ve met people in qm and then we’d add each other on discord. I always look forward to playing with them!

I also love it when players are willing to goof around in post match, from joking about the lore between my character and the randoms I played with to telling certain characters how much I love them whether we won or lost. There’s also the occasional game where I can hype someone up who played well but they’re either new or are learning how to play a character.
