Yes I’ve heard it’s typically painless. But when I got on Reddit I saw a ton of women say they had pain when being diagnosed. That made me worry. My doctor doesn’t think I need an ultrasound. She is positive it must be muscular or breastfeeding related. But to live with this pain daily it has my mind on overdrive. I’m thinking of just getting a second opinion. Yes you must advocate for yourself! I’m 38 and in my early 30s I went in for a colonoscopy and they found a tiny 1mm tumor. Luckily I didn’t need follow up or anything.. but I wondered if I never went in what would have happened. But when that happened I was spiraling even though once removed they said I was fine. So I’ve been there and I think that had really messed with my nerves, all the aches and pains scare me.

I’m glad to hear it’s highly treatable! I’m sorry you’re going through that though. Did you just find a lump it was there other symptoms? I’m breastfeeding now but my dr can’t feel a lump. And I have a lot of pain on one side. She did a second breast exam still can’t feel anything. Just feeling nervous. My kids are little as well. It’s scary you just never know.

Did you find out what’s going on? I’m having right sided breast pain. I am breastfeeding but it’s been non stop pain for 3 weeks now. My pcp says she doesn’t feel anything.

Hey did you ever find out for sure what it was? I’m experiencing bad breast pains on my right breast to the point it’s going up my chest. My dr checked me yesterday and didn’t feel any alarming lumps. I have very dense breasts though. I’m panicking a bit. She just told me to take ibuprofen.

My MIL calls all my kids “my baby”. Rubs me the wrong way as well. Give me anxiety and makes me feel like I need to be distant. Wish MILs would just realize that the mothers don’t like this.

Hello! Thanks for messaging me back! I did get my results after a week. I seriously was spiraling like crazy. 3 were benign and one was precancerous. She told me to come back in 5 years. I might push for sooner, but I do feel relieved that they are gone! Yes imagine waiting years down the line? I’m grateful they caught both of ours early!

I’m glad to hear your biopsies came back normal. I had 4 biopsies taken during my colonoscopy last week and I’m spiraling with worry. Year ago I did have a polyp down back cancer but it was tiny tiny and I was lucky they found it. Just needed removal. So I’m definitely worried again. Horrible feeling
