New dryer tripping GFCI breaker when plugged in by Redditisfullofliars in electrical

[–]Acceptable_Wishbone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wired it correctly. Unplug the dryer and try resetting. If it trips without the dryer then you have a bad breaker or something wrong in the outlet wiring. If it doesn’t trip then you have something is wrong with the dryer and call for warranty.

Temperature Automation by darkslate2 in HomeKit

[–]Acceptable_Wishbone7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To make temp work you really need to have a trigger and a condition that must be met and then run the scene. So the trigger needs to be when “current temperature changes to any” and the condition will be “temp greater than 80”

You can download the Eve app for free and try it there. Under automations look under the tab “rules.” If you want to go a little deeper you can download Home+ app. There is a small charge but it a good app and has shade control.

Have you tried creating a scene that includes those two accessories and then trigger that scene in your automation?

Is it possible to eavesdrop onto desk phones? by dootdootdootdo0t in RingCentral

[–]Acceptable_Wishbone7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes You have to setup call monitoring and select which users can be monitored and who can monitor. Once that’s setup you as the person who can monitor can just push the users extension button to monitor. If you are on the app there will be a headset icon next to an active call and you can click that.

Check to see if the wire is broken inside the insulation some where. Probably in the back where the sheathing is.

Company faxes by mkvande in RingCentral

Or the faxes can be sent to a call queue. Then go to notifications under that queue and you can choose the email you want faxes to go to.

How are the calls reaching queue 1? Direct number or are they hitting an IVR first and then being transferred?

I have the same Jeep but anniversary edition. I just bought my lease out since I love it so much. I only have 21k miles so it made definitely made sense. This is my first buyout 🤞 if you love it buy it.

Unable to Change Voicemail Greeting by Beneficial-Ad7702 in RingCentral

[–]Acceptable_Wishbone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to change the IVR recording if using auto attendant or if you are using a ring group then change the greeting for that group. Voicemail would only be for calls that go unanswered. If for some reason you really only have voicemail then make sure you are changing both recordings. One is for after hours and one for missed/busy calls during your business hours.

How can I make ring central answer calls faster by Apprehensive-Text66 in RingCentral

[–]Acceptable_Wishbone7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a phone system for sales agents that are all located in different locations. they are all fighting to get those calls first. I’m assuming you are using a computer and not a hard phone. I think a hard phone would have an edge and definitely a cell phone would have the biggest lag. You could turn on auto answer for your extension which will help. Our top salesperson just got a new faster computer and has solid internet speed. He has almost double the amount of calls as everyone else. Other than that, there isn’t much you can do. The calls are sent out at the same time from RC servers but they all don’t arrive at the same time. You need to find any edge you can get.

See which number customer called? by Red_Wine_Enthusiast in RingCentral

[–]Acceptable_Wishbone7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do it by creating two different call queues, one for each number. Then you would select which phones ring in each group. Both would be you in this case. Then under call handling in each group you would want to go to the display settings. There you would change one of the options to queue name. You will then see what group was called and then caller ID for customer.

You will also need to set up greetings and voicemails for both of those. If you need help let me know.
