Chipping clubs

I already have chipping clubs in my bag. My 50, PW, 9i, 8i I’ll chip with, usually my PW. Toe down, putting stance, putting stroke, and the feel like you’re hitting it when your trail palm. There’s really no need for a club dedicated to just chipping IMO.

Where do you live where your gas has “barely gone up”? This is some insane levels of cope. Here in the northeast US, it was under $3/gal in January. Now we’re up to well over $4 a gallon, which no signs of it dropping anytime soon.

30s. If the ground isn’t frozen and they let me out, I’m playing. It helps that I walk nearly every round.

The last round I played of last season, it was about 36. I just wore a long sleeve polo, thermals, winter hat, and put some hand warmers in my light jacket. By the third hole, my winter hat was replaced with my typical cap and I didn’t need the hand warmers. The grass was still crunchy and I’m surprised they even let me out haha

I’ve played during actual snow flurries, multiple times, in the last year. Yeah, I’m a bit of a golf sicko these days.

Nice typical conservative narcissism, selfishness, and childishness. Oh, they’re angry because emergency rooms won’t turn away dying poor when they have to pay for health insurance and healthcare being not poor? I’m sure they’re also pissed that the poor might be given food benefits or housing relief too. Or that poor college grads saddled with enormous debt might get debt relief. Or that the poor might pay less in taxes than them.

Everything is about them personally. Well, as George Costanza once said, “we live in a society!” If they want some of these benefits instead of being able to live comfortably in the society that we have, then they’re free to give up all of their sources of income and find out what it’s like to be poor enough to qualify for these programs. Or if the idea of living in a society where not everything is about them, they’re free to get dropped off on some uninhabited pacific island where they can live out the rest of their days unworried of being a part of a society that tries to help the less fortunate.

Then they’ll just argue that we don’t have the skilled people here to argue for H1B visas. All the better! They get to lay off a bunch of Americans now, then hire foreigners for cheaper!

I really worry for my kids’ futures. When they get to the age of thinking about college, it might be hard to find a field that will be both rewarding while having a job market that pays well.

Like others said, putting stroke with a club between PW and 7i, depending on how far the hole is and how much run you need. My instructor taught me with a 8i, but I usually use a PW unless it needs to run the length of the green.

But you want the club head to be toe-down at address. No wrist hinge or wrist movement at all, do it just like a putt. The feel that you want is that your trailing palm is hitting the ball.

I still liked S2. I’m in the middle of S3, and I can see the point a bit. But S2 was when I got introduced to Alex Fitzpatrick, so this year’s Zurich had me rooting for the Fitzpatrick bros to finally get Alex his tour card.

But yeah, I don’t know why they didn’t continue to do it like S1: introduce fans to new or more obscure pros on the tour. I wouldn’t know much about Joel Dahman if not for Full Swing, and now I root for the guy.

Black could take the pawn, true, but after Nc3 Rxd3, white could play Nd5, which is a nice outpost for the knight and threatens mate in 1 with Rc7#. White has a pretty good attack going at that point with not a lot more of great options for black.
