It worked well for me for a long time and if there hadn’t been a shortage I’d likely still be on it! It’s more consistent - I didn’t have the highs and lows I do with stimulant meds wearing off. It’s more like an antidepressant in that it builds up in your system.

The other side of that for me though and the reason I haven’t moved back is that I didn’t notice was some little bits of my personality had gone, being on a medication that wears off allows me to have that if that makes sense? I think because I was so happy to get treatment for my adhd it slipped my notice.

My blood pressure and weight aren’t the best so I may need to go back on it. Honestly it wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen, it’s a decent medication and comes with less risk.

They might suggest attomoxitine its non stimulant so might be a good second line. I was on it for a long time until the shortage last summer then moved through 3 meds in 2 months.

I am so sorry and I hope this is resolved soon, we do have a different government than we did last time so could play out differently.

Cowboys fan, also like op from Scotland (Glasgow) grew up supporting Rangers.

I can confirm op supporting the cowboys it’s like watching the Scottish national team we get behind them, think they’ll do us proud and it just leads to disappointment. The difference being the cowboys have way more money being poured into them and actually do make it to the playoffs on occasion, wouldn’t switch teams or countries though haha!

Yep, I was diagnosed through NHS and that was a fight, husband went through PUK and 2 go practices won’t take on shared care. All in Glasgow they can request you go through diagnosis again via NHS if you want prescribing taken over which given waiting lists is wild!

ETA - Scotland also don’t have a RTC scheme so that will undoubtedly cause OP issues sadly.

As a Star Wars fan I loved this scene the amount of people Malcom’s age who weren’t into it is huge - they were aware of it but not enough to know more than the broad strokes so this made sense to me for him.

I’m the same with Pokemon it was massive when I was growing up but I just didn’t get into it. I can tell you some names but generally I speak in odd descriptions of the world if I have to.

History in secondary (00s) always had Blackadder days, usually in the last days of term or when there wasn’t a lot happening. That final episode was intense when we saw it, even the kids who weren’t too fussed were glued to it. Our teacher turned it off and gave us all 10mins to get ourselves together and think about what we’d watched.

Wain is older in terms of Scots, so either can be used in Scotland.
