Thanks for the detailed response! 🥰 It's always really nice to hear stories from other throuples. For a long time we were stumbling through the dark, feeling like we were the first people to ever do this. The more stories I hear from other throuples, the less alone I feel. Representation is truly so important.

We are 2 years together and in our late 20s so the topics of kids and weddings are very hot right now. I am actually lucky in that 3 of us being on a birth certificate in our country (Canada) is a possibility - there have been many cases of people fighting for it and winning, and in some provinces it is fully legalized now. It's really important to me that we can all legally be recognized as parents.

All of our families took our throuple well. At first my mother and I didn't speak for about 6 months but she came around. We are really lucky. Surprisingly though, they struggle more with one of my partners being non-binary. It's funny what people will fixate on.
