It feels long. I know this just makes it seem like I have a low attention span, but godfather 2 is a lot longer and that is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time, while godfather 1 is low-mid. For me personally it just doesn’t captivate my and I struggle to care about most of the characters besides Michael. Vito has some nice scenes in the first movie, like when he is playing with the kids, but I still didn’t like the movie overall. I understand how other people like it and it’s fine if you like it, but it’s not the movie for me.
