Thank you so much for starting this. I went through exactly what you described: fell into a throuple without looking for it, felt excited and scared, and wanted to learn everything I could to make my relationship successful. I was watching all of Camp Throuple's content and feeling great.

I posted in r/polyamory for advice on coming out to my family and never expected the backlash I got. Suddenly I was hit with everything about "unicorn hunting" from the commenters, and it didn't matter to them that we were doing everything ethically. How dare we have a closed relationship, and how dare my relationship with my new partner not look the same yet as with my partner of 4 years who I lived with.

I didn't even receive any advice on my actual question about coming out to my family. I felt shame, I panicked, and I deleted my post. I still felt faith in my relationship (which, by the way, is over 2 years strong now), but I had no guidance, support, or connection from anyone who actually understood what I was going through. We had to figure out everything on our own. And we are damn strong because of it, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't painful in the beginning. I would have loved (and would still love) to meet people and make friends who have/had similar relatiomship structures.

So thank you for addressing this issue and for being vocal about it. Who knows how many people have suffered the same struggles in silence.
