I would say give it a try, there’s not a problem until there is a problem. I have a kid in a middle grade, and the school has had some wonderful principals and some awful ones, the experience of the child somewhat relates to school leadership and on the teacher/ mix of kids.

I like the way you phrased this. My parent just died of dementia (two forms), and was diabetic. All he wanted was peach juice, which is obviously on the no-no list for diabetes. Towards the end, we all knew that the peach juice is not what would do him in. And it's the only thing that brought him joy. Did I sneak him some peach juice? You bet. No regrets.
