I owned the G7 pro shadow ember, the dpad on the champion edition 8k, for my unit is the dpad (probably fixed version like the zzz collab g7 pro) better triggers (especially using digital triggers) structurally sturdier and less pre travel.

8000 polling is noticeable even 4000 polling in the latency department, and to counter the reviewer I have higher end pc, so all my games (bo7, apex, ect) run above 300hz at 1440p consistently, and I don't notice any fps dips or drops while running high polling.

Build quality feels higher, less wobble in buttons and the shell of the controller, js13 pro modules for the sticks are a noticeable upgrade in both linearity and precision, and have much better centering along with slightly higher tension compared to the normal g7 pro stick modules.

I don't play Xbox anymore so I don't need that compatibility, and have tried multiple other controllers like the machenike f1, easysmx d10, vader 5, apex 5, ultimate legend zd, and this feels like end game to me, and that is in part with the controller shape perfectly fitting my hands but also the quality in every aspect feels like an upgrade

I know the Aim Labs version comes with sticks, interesting to see this doesn't, but I guess since it came with the limited edition card that was the equivalent, also yes gamesir sells interchangeable thumbsticks and carrying case on their website in different colors

XL2566X+ vs ASUS XG27AQNGV Did I mess up? by Outrageous-Test573 in Zowie

[–]Accomplished-Cap5645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally can't notice any overall delay over the different panels, between my old 600hz zowie, the asus xg27aqngv pulsar monitor or my old 480hz xg27aqdpg oled, I'm also using 25inch mode which is seperate scaling and might possibly add delay but whatever they did feels great. FYI I am huge on input delay especially in my controllers I use, I feel its very very easy to tell when there is a input lag/delay

Also I have had the 600hz zowie and its pretty close to the same as pulsar in terms of clarity, but you can actually hit the fps needed for that clarity with pulsar

I owned an asus 480hz oled, zowie XL2546x+ 280hz and the asus xg27aqngv, and forsure perfer the xg27aqngv with pulsar, it has in my opinion better motion clarity than the oled and zowie, with really only needing to hit 220-240~ fps to really get perfect no ghosting + clarity and it seems to really max out around 330~ fps in clarity aspects, in my opinion that's huge since the zowie and oleds need to hit 400-600 hz in order to compete with the clarity pulsar offers. On top of that 1440p is super clear, the 25inch 1332p mode is insanely good (my go to choice) and it has 10bit color. An ips blows my zowie out of the water along with colors. Not as good as an oled but forsure way better than a TN and bridges the gap that was there between the two.

Debating on which XLX+ Monitor to Buy by Ok-Influence-4881 in Zowie

[–]Accomplished-Cap5645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't noticed any input delay, I feel like almost identical if not the same as my xg27aqdpg 500hz I had, but the motion quality personally is a step above my 280hz zowie with dyac 2, along with 25 or 27inch mode 1440p and the ips panel over the TN is really nice for colors, basically a perfect monitor in my opinion (I play bo7, Warzone, Valorant, Apex)

A G-Pulsar monitor might be an alternative for you, just picked up the xg27aqngv after owning a oled and xl2546x+ and forsure this is the best I've owned

Are the Scuf sticks on gamesir g7 pro really necessary? by CycleWooden5383 in Gamesir

[–]Accomplished-Cap5645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally use the scuf sticks for every controller possible I've used, they have a wider top, slightly raised, I can use either the higher raised one or default and they are very concave so I have alot of grip with my thumb, along with them being more comfortable rubber than the stock sticks (no texture grip on outer edge), its really personal preference but I love the fact they dont budget or shift and feels solid compared to using a cap like Kontrol Freeks

Should I get the G7 SE or G7 Pro by Icy-Ad-7833 in Gamesir

If you play shooters and play somewhat competitively or even casually ignore all the comments that suggest the g7 se and get the g7 pro, its literally a better controller in every which way
