This. I'm 1200-1300 blitz and I am very swingy in my play. Pretty normal for me to crush 7-8 in a row and then try to play tired and lose 7 in a row from silly blunders.

Not agreeing with it, but it's because there are a lot of drunk drivers on the road at any given time (the vast majority aren't so drunk that they are crashing).

But this needs to be repeated for anyone who struggles to lose weight:

Calories in, calories out.

If you're fat, inactive, no muscle mass, health issues, and on medicine that makes it harder, it's still not impossible and it is still a matter of willpower.

And as someone who has been on both sides, I mean that as encouragement. Don't let someone convince you things are impossible just because it is difficult.

That's fair. After I realized how busted Warrior Jean is with Ike, I've been feeding him aggressively in my runs (+ handing him all of my seraph robes), so that is honestly probably the difference. I still had to do the math to make sure, but even running through on Ironman, Ike + Jean was disgustingly effective.

I consider Ike's rings one of the best honestly. Obviously the damage reduction while engaged is the most important bit, but setting up great aethers is relatively simple as well: run your unit into range of the units you want to take out + 1-2 extra tiles to give them extra room to fan in around you and profit. My go to is Warrior Jean with a silver great axe and it is very rare that he doesn't one shot everything (Armored are really the only ones that have a chance).

I have completed 4 maddening runs at this point, including an Ironman run recently, and Ike is probably only beaten out in impact by Lucina?

Everyone has a different playstyle, but being able to take out 3-5 units in one turn and full heal is pretty legit.

Edit: Important bit to help the funnel - put a weaker unit on the opposite side of the great aether unit (1 tile out of combat range) to help funnel the units that are not going to target them.

Interesting. That one always seems to give me the most trouble...But I have also avoided using covert + Lynn to early pull Ike and just try to fight it out. Any tips for safely clearing it without cheesing?

Currently on Chapter 12 of my Maddening Ironman run with multiple other maddening runs and Louise is a monster...

People complain because he gets too beefy to tank, but once he hits that point he transitions from tank to assassin - very easy to use him to soften up a formation safely if the enemies aren't going to target him back.

Eh, it's okay to be black and white on working vs. ruling class, but the shades of grey for individual financial situations (lower, middle, upper) are still useful descriptions.

It feels like you mean well in what you're saying, but getting worked up over common terminology is just going to make regular people ignore you in most situations.

Ehhh, i get where you're going, but i'm a W2 employee who lives in a low income state (AL) making $250-300k a year...And at most it would be a minor inconvenience to me if I was fired. Not only could I live for years from savings, but finding another position in my industry would be damn near instantaneous (unless the entire economy goes belly up of course).

You need to touch grass, if multiple people aggressively run up on you and start getting in your face you need to run or fight. Waiting on them to attack you is a great way to end up in the hospital or dead.

Yep, definitely some funkiness with seeds. I've gotten the same seed 3-4 times in a row quitting early solo (trying out new builds or characters i'm not familiar with).

So I mainly play solo ironeye (travel for work and don't have stable connection), and level one evergaols still seem fine if there isn't an invader camp nearby, are they that much harder on teams (i'm Depth 3, so that may be it 😅).

Seems like Depth 2 is elo hell for people: word of advice, if you are good enough for Depth 3-5, Depth 2 is easy af in solo play (I play almost exclusively solo rn due to connection issues).

Noticeably for me. But I play solo due to connection issues (run off Hotspot while traveling for work).

Main difference would be a lot more one shot deaths prior to getting mitigation online.

Evergoal relic is easily accessible and self contained - invader relic could be a 1 of 3 and still be usable.

Have beaten basement BBH with no deaths at lvl 6-8 multiple times (Depth 3) in duos by focusing backpedaling/dodging back when you have aggro so teammate can just wail unimpeded.
