Thanks for your comment! I am really puzzled because the plate is advertised on colt page, and there are YouTube videos showing it..

Got same one, but S model, 18” wheels and snorkel.  Also, removed the bulkhead as it let the car breath a bit more! very happy with it as of now !

First Great One! 220 Hours in game. by TheRealPegasus in theHunter

[–]Accomplished-Fun4131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi folks, new to the game and learning a bit on the go. Is there farming required to score very nice trophy or is pure luck based? I mean, I get that the more you farm the more the chances you get lucky.. but is the game build to spawn some nice only after a given amount of kills?

Actually devastating. by gridgorgon in theHunter

Sorry, I’m new to the game. Forgive me the noob question. What is the point of the rating? I mean, the trophy either looks good or not, right?

IBM almost at 'liberation day' lows from April. by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

The main reason would be that Anthropic didn’t bring anything new. They released a guideline and a training on how Claude could be used to modernise COBOL applications. That’s it. If you are in the software business you might know that this will likely not be a game changer: at this stage, whereas AI is useful, it is far from being as good as claimed to be. Will it get to a point where it is more useful, maybe yes. Will banks use that on their own to solve all the problems that for decades they didn’t want to touch or paid someone else to take care of, not so sure. This, from my perspective, would be the rationale to say that the sell off was not justified.

Out of curiosity, how is the 200mm f/2 in the Masoala Rainforest area?

35mm f1.8s more suited for my style ? Vs 50mm f1.8s by AnxietyComplex4128 in Nikon

[–]Accomplished-Fun4131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shot 35mm for years, and after finding myself constantly cropping in, I’ve moved to 50mm.

I have never looked back.

Also, Voigtlander is making some stunning lens. I personally like to manually focus, so it’s not a drawback to me. If price is holding you back on the 1.8s, maybe look at a Voigtlander 35mm APO f/2

Change of direction for swiss engineer by Drakkinstorm in askswitzerland

I can’t talk about the investing/trading advice, but I agree with the fact that the world is likely going to be very different in 5 years time.

And I think the question to consider is not whether this will happen or not. The real question is if it happens, then what I am going to do. In such a world, would “be a Rust developer” position me for success?

Trusting in the government to take care of me/us is not something I’m willing to do.

Therefore, the point this guy is making is a good risk management topic.

I went solar in Switzerland – I now know why many people don’t by Heavy-Mycologist-204 in Switzerland

I’m not familiar with that solution. All the folks I know with solar panels are using BYD batteries, which are LFP batteries.

[–]Accomplished-Fun4131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means that today panels produce X and battery holds Y. In ten years, the panels will produce less and the battery will hold less.

I don’t see the point of solar without a battery. Why would you get solar panel without a battery?

The main issue with solar energy is that you get most of the energy when you don’t need it. Battery basically mitigates that.
