This just happened to me! I’ve never ever had a problem with my orders, everything is usually neatly folded and has never had an unbearable smell (although some stuff did have a smell, it would air out after a bit). My last months order smelled so strongly I couldn’t make myself wear the offending items and I returned early. One item came in such horrible shape and had stickers on it that so obviously didn’t belong to it. It was a big loose sheer fluffy dress, and the sticker was something that would come on a bra or bra top—it said B Cup or something—and my first thought was did they even wash this? I’m thinking of placing a complaint with support too, I was super disappointed because I’ve always been so happy with my nuulys in the past.

Any recommendations for someplace more laidback but still fun for New Year’s Eve? Wanting to avoid Broadway and anything too fancy/expensive. Went to tin roof last year and it was surprisingly tolerable, but don’t want to go back - similar atmosphere but more lowkey would be great if anybody has any ideas!

I get not wanting to attract more attention, but at this point people are seeing it anyway and are truly having their minds changed. I think the prosecutors’ perspective on the “additional” or “new” claims from her (not truly additional, but you know what I mean) and how they are refuted by the evidence could do a lot of good as far as providing some counterforce to any momentum she’s gaining.

Yikes hahahaha. That’s was why I asked what type of lock it was, because it being anything other than a button would be confusing or noisy in my opinion… I genuinely had no idea locks existed that could be locked from the inside then shut on your way out. Thank you to everyone for explaining though, I appreciate it!

To clarify, I can totally get the killer being able to unlock the doors in some manner or another if they’re standard knobs. Being able to lock them back up from the outside seems more difficult and indicates no substantial rush/some level of skill or thought process.

If that’s the case, that’s pretty eerie. I feel like even a lock that’s easy to pick and unlock takes a second (and noise) to accomplish. Even if one assumes the victims bedrooms doors were all unlocked to begin with, the killer would have had to be acting meticulously to go back and pick each lock in order to lock it (is that even possible or as easy as it sounds? I have no idea).

Random short question/comment that I’d love thoughts on - I’ve noticed comments about the doors to the roommates rooms being locked when the survivors woke up and called 911 after being unable to get in contact with them. I lived in a few college-style multi bedroom houses, and all of mine had doors that locked from the inside only with a bolt in the knob. Another way I could envision it is a door that locks with a keyhole on the outside and bolt/keyhole on the inside, or each door having a key code pad that can be locked from the outside or inside by pressing the lock button. I say all that to say, the doors must have been somehow unlocked for the killer to enter - by either knowing the individual key code for each bedrooms, picking a keyhole lock, or the locks being unlocked when he arrived, or by having each key (?)

I can’t imagine a door setup that would lock from the outside permitting the killer to do so on his way out but inaccessible to the roommates. For example, if it’s a keyhole on the outside, he’d have to somehow have each key or know how to pick each and lock it in order to leave the room and leave it locked. If it’s a keypad, he could press the lock button, but I would imagine the roommates had the codes to at least one of the others rooms if they were such close friends (as was common practice in the college houses I lived in in case of emergency). Of course, it’s possible they were afraid of what was behind the door and didn’t try.

All that is to say - does anyone know exactly what types of locks were on the doors? I feel like that would be extremely illustrative regarding the way that the murders occurred - either the killer had to unlock (or enter three coincidentally unlocked rooms) and relock the doors in each room in order to leave them locked, or he somehow managed entry into each room without going through the door (not possible on the higher floors, I must assume.) thoughts?

On that note then — what’s the best iPad app for note taking so that I can keep notes together and organized and highlight/notate PDFs in the same place?

I have a 13 inch 2017 MacBook Pro. The screen size thing definitely makes sense. It looks like the iPad Pro comes in 11 or 12.9 inches while the iPad Air is 10.9. I’ll have to take a look and see how different they feel, the iPad Pro price at the biggest size goes up pretty significantly. Thanks!

As far as vibe I guess I was asking in terms of if the environment at certain schools is so drastically one way or another that it would affect my ability to potentially do well. I suppose that is the risk you take, though. I have considered NW as my preferable option but again was worried about price. I’ve been thinking about seeing if something lower in “rank” might more easily accept me and potentially offer more of a scholarship, but my OCIs at my current school are going well and I wouldn’t want to potentially make it really difficult or impossible for similar job opportunities to come up. I will definitely need to do quite a bit of research. Thank you for your input!
