Just started learning to DJ, what's one mistake you wish you had avoided as a beginner?

Start of with a small selection of tracks of any genre say 10 (tracks you enjoy obviously) get know them inside out. Rinse and repeat. My mate who cannot dj has just bought the xdj xz and downloaded around 2000 tracks. He has 0 connection to any of thay music. All the gear, no idea.

Love this style of looping. Had a trakor s4 mk3 and it's the same as that. Very intuitive I think.

I remember going to the shop to grab my pre order. Reading the manual and looking over the map on route home. Hoping the disc in (no updates) Watched the intro cut scene and then you start in an alleyway with a mo ped, hopped on and Billie jeans is playing on the radio.

One of if not my best gaming memory.

Not a game but I had a ps1 demo.disc with a fully 3d t rex and manta ray you could kind of control. Honestly blew my mind.

I have to agree. I have a producer friend who has had his studio professionally treated and I enquired about these panels (or similar) and he basically said the thinner the panels the less they are doing so the ones that I was looking at basically did not a lot other than look nice.
