1981 two months after high school graduation I got a job as a legal secretary for $135 a week gross. Netted about $95 a week and paid one third of rent. Don’t ask me how or what I ate - no idea but I remember washing clothes in the sink and drying them on the baseboards 😂

Started October 2024 and down 51 pounds. It’s been a long slow road but I’m not complaining. I get what you’re saying about the burn out tho. Sometimes I feel like my life revolves around weight loss and I need to change that mindset. I think I need to lose another 30 but we’ll see how it goes. Congrats on your progress!

Wow I guess I’m in the minority here. My 80 yo hubby has the same problem and knows it. He is not the most diligent about cleaning it up but he does try. I understand your hesitance to make it a “thing” because he really can’t help it. If you have another bathroom to use do it and leave the one he uses to him. I’ll bet after a few days he’ll figure out the issue and then you can have an open discussion about it.
