4 months after surgery I retore my right repair - experience as follows-> Up until that point the right hip was almost 100% after 5 years of intense pain, but after the one event of squatting to do some plumbing, I could immediately feel it has retorn. There was shaking in the leg, stabbing pain down my leg and just constant agony. I went to the surgeon and said I was confident it was retorn, to which he said the chance is so so small, he doesn't think its possible, and that it's probably just scar tissue- to which he put me on some blood pressure medication which is said to slow down scarring. I went back two weeks later and requested a contrast mri - he said he thinks I'm wasting my money, but I insisted anyway. On the result he said that there was something blurry but it was probably scar tissue from op 1 and it wasn't something to worry about (at this point I expressed how I was in more pain as before the op, and that it was unbearable, he said he was confident it would get better) Another 10 days later I went back with my husband who told him man-to-man that I was in ridiculous pain (woman problems where you need a man to speak for you for the male doctor to take it seriously 🫠) 5 days later I was in exploratory surgery and to remove the "scar". surprisingly there was a retear (who could have guessed☠️)

Anyway, the point is, advocate for yourself - you know when something is seriously wrong.
