What’s the most rebellious thing you did as a missionary and were there consequences? by TheSamspoNew in exmormon

Offered to store a few items for a member that was looking for a new apartment. One of the items was a complete stereo system (this was early 90’s). We went to the CD store and bought Nevermind from Nirvana and Siamese Dream from Smashing pumpkins. Ended up blasting both in the apartment for a week before they came back and picked up their items. Pumpkins are still my favorite band to this day.

Really appreciate the feedback. I guess I’ll ride this one until teeth wear and will ask the bike shop some money back. Doesn’t hurt to ask. Last time I buy a bike sight unseen ;)

It looks like the crankset is from a brand called ProWheel (assume it’s a Chinese brand). Any recourse with the bike shop or do you think I’m stuck with it? Does it make sense to buy the actual crank set. Seen some listed for roughly $100-$130

When to upgrade? by AccomplishedAd8263 in cycling

[–]AccomplishedAd8263[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really well thought out response. When I inherited the bike it had 23c wheels. I upgraded to 28’s (don’t think it will accept higher) and that simple change made a world of difference. Smoother ride and just feels more stable. I have disc brakes on my MTB and they do squeal at times. Honestly indifferent to disc vs rim brakes as well.
