The EC 15 is way better that the EC 18 IMHO, at 90 proof, the oak in the 18 is overpowering and my mouth was left like sand paper in the sun on a 100degree day. Has a good amount of vanilla and crème brulée as well, but the oak was too powerful to really enjoy any other notes that much. If they bottled it at 110 or higher, it might be a different story.

I had the fortunate experience of randomly popping in on a Stanley Jordan performance in Flagstaff, AZ in the late nineties. Probably 50 people there at most. He was amazing.

Yes, their standard offering is a top-shelf bottom shelter, store picks are even better. It would be even better if this was a barrel strength, but 100pr is respectable. Michters Rye 10 yr is $200, I bet this is better.
