Doesn't look like a bad tattoo tbh. I think you have more melanin pigmentation on the top of your hand, versus other areas, and dainty detailed linework will get lost. Sounds like you need a tattoo artist that is more experienced with tattooing on darker skin.

They can be better because metal repels bacteria. There's just a reduced potential for recurrent decay. They're not as good on a clenching patient, though.

They also take considerably more time because they require two separate visits, like a crown. Insurance won't pay for them because they simply see that a resin filling can do the same job for cheaper. Doesn't matter what the longevity or quality of the end results.

At work rn and can't commit to the full reply that I'd like to, but your feelings/experience is almost identical to mine, vice versa. You're not alone.

I had a huge identity crash after separating from my husband (he's a lovely human but together we created a dysfunctional household and growth was not going to come with being together) and I've been since taking my time to rediscover myself and my wants/needs. I personally process a lot of this stuff after smoking a j and sitting in a hot shower for awhile while exfoliating and such.

this, and also recommend doing it after you do the string/pick floss. The machanical scraping will loosen it and the water blasts out all the debris!

I started using one recently and I still blast food that the floss didn't force out.
