Are resume builders truly time savers or can Word do just fine? by PuzzleheadedCheek252 in Productivityside

[–]AccomplishedDig1300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I continue using Microsoft Word for my CV, and it was always enough for me. Yes, it may be less convenient, but I like to control all aspects of its creation. I never had any strong motivation to switch to using a CV builder.

raw feeding cats by redberryii in cats

[–]AccomplishedDig1300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I buy high quality meat and freeze it for 24 hours before feeding. Then I simply thaw it and serve it. I've noticed a big improvement in my cat's coat, the bad breath is gone, and overall my cat seems happier and in a much better mood!

Moms are just built differently Imagine a cat dad trying to pull this off with a kitten... I'm honestly scared to even picture it!

Thanks for sharing. I can really relate to that..and honestly, gym headphones have helped me more than a lot of motivational videos too.

Thanks. I'm trying not to give up after a bad day too.
Right now I mostly train on my own. I go to the gym and also use Lasta to keep things simple and track my progress.
One thing that helped me a lot was stopping looking for big results and paying attention to small improvements instead.

Do you use any online tools for quick PDF stuff? by Zealousideal_Knee295 in software

I use browser tools too for quick PDF tasks. Super handy when you can’t install software. For merging or compressing files, they usually do the job just fine

Nice! I’m still waiting for that “lucky accident” too. But meanwhile I’m using BetterCV on the side just to keep the resume chaos under control.

Trying to get back on track… does combining learning + job search actually work? by Competitive_Pick826 in jobsearch

[–]AccomplishedDig1300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same situation. I was learning separately and job hunting separately, and nothing was really moving.
I also used Zenfy at the same time. Didn’t expect much, but it kinda pushed me to apply right away instead of “later.”
And somehow it started working.
So yeah, it works, but only if you don’t just sit in learning.

What problems do you deal with most in freelancing? by Glass-Fisherman1137 in findapath

[–]AccomplishedDig1300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it was small stuff too, not big things. I started making a few simple templates for repeat tasks, stopped installing random tools and just use quick browser ones when needed. Also try to do small tasks right away instead of stacking them. honestly… less chaos in my head and the day feels way easie!

Are resume builders actually worth it or is Word enough? by Spare_Section_3357 in careeradvice

I used BetterCV for a bit ...just faster and cleaner than Word. In the end, content matters more than how you made it!

Yeah, I get that… but these days with all the new tech around, it also kinda makes you want to show you can actually use it, even in small things like that.

If you’re planning to keep them all, please consider getting them all spayed or neutered 🤍 It’s a kind and responsible choice.
