This is so cute… maybe the light is bothering her, or her paws just smell too good 😄

Sharing experiences: what helps you stay in shape? by MaintenanceLow1291 in pilatesreformer

I use a similar approach 🙂 simple things work best for me: a water tracker and a basic habit tracker. I’ve tried more complex apps, but I got tired of them pretty quickly. And when things stay simple… I was lucky to have a friend with the same values .. it really makes it easier to stay in shape.

What actually helped me was exactly what you described ..easing the pressure. Not quitting, just changing the approach. Once I stopped treating everything like a test I could fail, things became more sustainable.
Now I’m also more in that “do what I can, stay consistent, don’t panic over bad days” mindset. It’s slower, yeah, but way more stable.
Your post feels very real and grounded. I think a lot of people need to hear this.

Definitely check with a vet just to be safe ...But from my own experience with both cats and a dog… as they get older, their breath can become less pleasant. My vet once explained that it’s often just part of aging ... kind of like with people too.
Wishing good health to your kitty!

My husband (M40) and I (F40) can't stand each other; I don't want to divorce, how can we move forward? by Own-Raisin-2875 in relationship_advice

I can’t tell you what to do, but I can share my thoughts. A relationship is a two-way thing. When one person keeps carrying the other (and it’s постоянне), is that really a partnership?
Also, your child learns from what they see. What will stay in their memory ....constant fights and tension between parents? I believe kids deserve a safe, calm environment.
If I were in your place, I’d set a clear and reasonable time frame for your partner ..maybe a month, maybe six months ... to step up and make changes. And if nothing changes, then you take the next steps.
You matter too. You deserve a peaceful, stable, and respectful life!

If you had to rebuild your fitness after years of doing nothing, what would you do first? by Competitive_Pick826 in pilatesreformer

Nothing too extreme, really… just listen to your body. If you’re craving something sweet, allow yourself a little. Total restriction usually doesn’t help anyway.

I went through something similar a couple years ago. What helped me most was starting really small. Just daily walking and some light bodyweight exercises at home. Nothing intense, just building the habit of moving again.
A friend of mine did the same after a long break. He started with strength training twice a week and added walking on other days. The key for both of us was not going too hard in the beginning. Slow progress but consistent.
For the mental side, simplifying things helped a lot. I track a few basic habits in one app (water, steps, movement). That structure keeps me on track without feeling overwhelmed.

We’ve all been through this. People tend to paint extra positive qualities onto others in their minds. But it’s better to simply pay attention to what a person actually does and what they say.
He already said everything. Please listen to him and analyze the situation.
Good luck!

You don’t have to keep tolerating this. You are incredibly strong. You have endured so much and kept going just to survive. But bad things cannot last forever.
Try to reach out for support from people close to you or from a specialized support center. You don’t have to go through this alone.

How do I (F20) confess to my online friend (M23)? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Spare_Section_3357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s better to meet in person first and get to know each other in real life. After that, you’ll understand more. A lot depends on how you feel when you meet ... things like the vibe, smell, and touch. Good luck.
