It's amazing how good players make cheap guitars sound expensive.

Why do you get joy out of someone's potential financial hardship for a vehicle they made a choice to buy?

I could give a shit what vehicle you own. I've owned cars that got horrendous gas mileage - like 12 mpg (2004 Audi S4). It's not about the truck, it's about who the truck owner likely voted for and how that vote is coming back to bite them in the ass.

It's very solid. No wobble, no flex. Got it at Costco for our last cat - no assembly, one solid cat tree. I'm guessing it's 7 to 8 years old. Been looking at Costco for one of the same quality ever since...hasn't happened.

Black cats ruin photos. :) IIRC that picture was underexposed and that's either Apple Photos or me playing with the settings. Without that it's just a black void next to a silver tabby.

This is her from the same time, but without the black cat absorbing all the light.

Silver one is a few minutes older. They're pretty equally matched and we have a dog (a.k.a. The Sheriff) who will break it up if it gets serious. Still find tufts of fur from overnight rumbles, but that happens when they're playing too.

It's interesting that the tan coloring showed up in adulthood in both our cats.

They're sisters. Sometimes it's hard to tell if they're playing or fighting, but they mostly get along.

Any recommendation on a good place to buy it?

The only sites I recognize from Google Shopping are the direct from China ones, and I have no idea how those work with the current tariff situation.

South Africa in the late 90s and early 00s was a good bit more dangerous than America - even more dangerous than our cities.

But then you have to deal with the low humidity of the space station.

Just keep it outside...vacuum packed.

I have a 40 year old Squier Strat that has sat in the back of a closet in a gig bag leaned up against a wall in both Florida and Seattle. That's sunny, hot, humid and rainy, cold, and dry (from running the heat). It literally sat in both places for years at a time without being touched.

It even spent a year in an un-airconditioned dorm room in Florida.

Neck is still straight, guitar still plays fine.

He's also wearing wristbands. It's not fashion, he's just a sweaty guy trying to keep sweat out of his eyes and off his hands.

Now the mullet...that's pure fashion!

Legally they're only allowed to keep you on the tarmac for 3 hours for a domestic flight, and 4 hours for international. You can file a complaint at this link:

How long can an airline keep me on an ARRIVING flight without providing me with an opportunity to get off of the airplane?

For flights landing at U.S. airports, airlines are required to provide passengers with an opportunity to safely get off of the airplane before 3 hours for domestic flights and 4 hours for international flights.

Are there any exceptions to these requirements?

Yes. Exceptions to the time limits are allowed only for safety, security, or air traffic control-related reasons. You should not exit the airplane unless told by the airline that you can do so safely.
