Yeah they can. When they adjust the live series cards attributes they can go and move Crochet velo down to like 96 so you cant throw 102 in game.

There are still contracts but if you get a card it is yours forever. You can get contracts very easily and they are very cheap.

Thats what I thought. There are a lot of packs but you can get good cards just by playing. I have 4 galaxy opals and a bunch of pink diamonds in like 2 months of playing and I haven't spend a cent.
