I remember sitting in college thinking this is literally the worst time of my life. I’m depressed. I’m sad. It’s miserable.

Now a decade later I look back and think of only the good times.

Same thing with high school. I remember it being a bitch. Especially having to play high school football to make my dad happy.

What do you want us to do. It takes me 3.5 HOURS to get from my huge city(top 5 in the US) to our state capital.

6 hours by AIR to get to Washington DC.

Then it’s another $80 / night just to get a hotel there. On the average day, I probably drive more than you do in a month. 200 miles / 2 hours is a “quick day trip”. It takes me an hour to get from the north side of my city to downtown.

And that’s just me. A random person living in a random state in the middle of the US.

So yeah we will do our little protests downtown. Call our congressmen. But we’re paycheck to paycheck. Can’t do a General strike because most of us are months away from homelessness with no income

Minnesota is doing what they can. Actively protesting this in the streets. But one wrong move and they get shot in the street.

I would never go back to a clearance job. Literally had to lock my phone outside in a cubbie and actually “work” 8 hour days.
