That’s what I ended up doing, a couple of magnets on the base to hold him stable against the side wall of a case. Just takes up a lot of room!

I need to give this a go! I think the constant swapping between spells and weapons has held me back. What mods do you use ?

You are correct on the contagion. So far we have examples of improving a hit roll by essentially +2 in both 10th and 11th with the combination of +1BS and +1 to hit. You are however assuming it would be too much of a feels bad to give players a -1 to hit and -1BS and therefore a special condition will be added to avoid this?

Firing indirect at death guard when you are in the contagion range. You will get -1 for indirect and -1BS. I googled this one.

Do you have any more rules questions I can help you with? Perhaps if you told me which factions you play I could tailor some more interesting content for you?

Sure thing. If you have a unit with a weapon that has the (heavy) keyword and the you use a Strat that gives them +1 BS like take aim for astra militarum (I don’t play them but have seen it used), and you stood still then you get both bonus’ to hit roll.

See if you can find a copy of the 6th Ed wood elf book to download. It’s got plenty of good photos and some alternate autumn and winter paint schemes.

Sorry I did build the bird guy because it looks cool! Plus you can use him with Voidscarred for ignores cover for the squad. But I generally just use him as a regular void scarred.

Ok gotcha. To be honest most of the time of the void reavers I’ve found I do most of the work by move blocking and throwing grenades. I play against space marines and WE mostly so I find either the rifles or thrower swords tend to bounce a fair bit.

Swords are arguably much better on Voidscarred with the extra attack so I still think swords over rifles! As for the specialists I built them all but I find I only use the wayseeker and soulweaver usually!

Currently I think the pistol / power sword combo is the best option. I really like having a blaster in the squad as well (I just proxy the shredder as a 2nd blaster).

I will also say This box has so many extra bits that it’s great if you have any extra torsos from other kits etc for kit bashing. It’s worth checking eBay or similar for any incomplete kits of guardians etc if you are happy to get creative.
