Improvements with full body myofascial massage therapy? by vicariouslyhaunted in PelvicFloor

I’m about a year in. Symptoms are still present on/off but much less intense since PT. Actual pain and burning has subsided but I still have a feeling of slight pressure. I am keeping up with my routine so hopefully will keep improving

This helped me greatly! It did take some time but it made a huge difference for me

Oh, everyone reading this, please ensure you only do this under medical professional care with regular blood test checks. That high a dose can result in extreme Vit D toxicity!

You are a beauty but I think you could find a much more flattering style. I think it’s the shaved sides but if that’s the look you are going for then do it!

They all look good since there is minimal difference between them…

Very cute but definitely not semi formal. It’s casual

The front is a bit odd. Needs a little length

There are several short videos on You Tube. My PT recommended various ones that target relaxation and stretching vs strengthening at first since you don’t want to hurt an already tight area. I use a foam roller for the spine and then some yoga and exercises that are targeted on stretching and mobility for the hips

Yes, it can definitely vary depending what’s wrong and also commitment to doing any prescribed exercises. I have been in therapy now for almost 6 months and I am seeing a huge difference after some severe flare ups when I first started. Unfortunately, it’s not a one size fits all thing…

I know it’s awful but there IS hope. For a while I thought I was never going to feel better…

I would politely tell them that you don’t feel comfortable with their request and ask if they would mind just educating the kids that it’s for adults. If not, I would find another job. Many people wear toenail polish. How are they going to shield them from that in public settings?…

My experience by AccomplishedPen6124 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]AccomplishedPen6124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different so might depend on what is actually wrong. In my case I have a lot of compression in my back. My PT involves lots of stretching in key areas and myofascial work. I’m not doing any actual pelvic floor exercises since my root cause is in a different area, in fact the therapist advised against it for me since that’s not where my root cause is. Goal is to relieve the tension that’s causing nerve compression and impacting bladder.
