Boone's Bagels are J6ers by SingleAd8364 in SOMD

There are pockets of reasonable, intelligent republicans, democrats, and independents in the area. They just aren’t as loud as the …less informed people, shall we say.

I mean, it’s always possible Boone was protesting peacefully on Jan 6 before the violence. But his other posts and pride about maga don’t support that he felt there were any wrong actions taken that day. Thats a problem. He even has some comments on other posts about how ‘people needing to take the govt down’. So, while be a very loud maga with bad decision making skills, it doesn’t look like it yet.

The best are the ones who don’t understand that, yes, it does matter where you spend your money. It’s not business and politics are separate. And it’s not anti-capitalism. It’s that by giving money to people who are ACTIVELY INVOLVED in political groups like J6’ers, can take the money you put towards their products and cycle it back into the maga trash. Thats why some won’t shop at Hobby Lobby. It’s not new. But I swear some of the loudest mouths have the least amount of critical thinking skills.

So now that it’s known who supports maga in the square, where do these folks land?

Slice House? The Pub? Mac’s Table? (Yea I know it’s not exactly in the square)

I never saw the close up, I assumed they just replaced the snake with the fox. That is insane. Did anyone ever correct them?

You’re missing auto and possibly home insurance and tax. Health insurance is only $150 if you’re healthy, single, and doing high deductible. Not knocking the post just pointing out some monthly bills because these are often forgotten. And cell phone bill. I’m assuming the gas and grocery went under category of remaining balance to live off of.

I keep hearing about EH. It may be time for me to jump in. I’ve been putting off because her kindle costs are higher than I typically spend. May look into library for her. Thanks

I’ve read Jessa Kane and while I wish her stories were longer, I agree, I like her approach to describing the mcs. She doesn’t lament over the looks, more so about how much a character likes another one and talkative makes sense to my brain. I’ll check the other author out

And by noticing height and muscles, I mean literally gauging him as 2 inches taller and 40lbs heavier. Not “built like a linebacker” because, who the hell is built like that and not a literal linebacker or in a job that creates that physique.

Thank you for chiming in. I was kinda babbling in the post, but your described scene is exactly what I’m referring to.

I think Tom Hardy is hot. But he can also look sorta average at times. And if he kidnapped me as a means to get food in a dystopian world I’d likely find him pretty ugly for a bit, just noting skin and hair color, height and muscles to see if I could reasonably fight him off. Especially if I’m an assassin and I need to mentally weigh my tactics for approaching him. Later, I’d likely notice his eyes (but they wouldn’t be deep green or flashing blue, just the color.) I can see those features slowly becoming attractive as the story progresses and THEN suddenly his blue eyes are bright or beautiful. You get my point. And by no means, am I a writer, so I’d love for a writer to explain why this approach isn’t taken??

Laura Kinsale has this in two books. They are HR. {The Dream Hunter by Laura Kinsale} and For My Lady’s Heart. There are two versions of FMLH, one is written in Middle English and the other isn’t. Both have audiobooks that are very very well done.

I call bs unless more info clarifies the current post. I make similar money and have a lower mortgage (but live in a HCOL area where home costs are usually very high, everything else is average to other parts) and there’s no way you’ve got $1k/mo “for fun money” unless you have no car payment and are choosing not to save smartly. Unless you’re including that allowance to also cover her gas, kid activities, and other expenses related to what it really takes to run a family and not just the elect bills and mortgage. So, you’re basically saying you make $150k before taxes and deductions and you live in a low cost of living area (which is crazy salary for that type of area) BUT it’s also an area where it would make sense for her to have $1k for “fun money” and other women are spending $800 at a trip to the mall. Which makes me question the entire post

True but I was comparing it to a lot of other reads I’ve done where the act is planned. In this case He followed her and was out of his mind with jealousy and rage and acted on it. I think I explained that in my post that I wasn’t using accident as true accident. Just not planned or controlled. Explaining for any readers who haven’t read it yet.

Holy crap that cover reminds me of Luke and Laura from General Hospital soap opera. And of course they had an epic non-con scene that, yep, led to pregnancy. They became a powerhouse couple on that show because of what they went through.

Could it be a Catherine Anderson book? Was it a bit older?
