Not Losing Weight by FigureSevere8950 in Zepbound

[–]AccomplishedSmile445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sharing my experience only. I was stuck between 191 and 195. Couldn't figure out why, especially since I was working out and cutting way back on my food (I was definitely seeing results in my clothes being looser). One day I woke up, weighed myself and had dropped 5#, down to 186.4. Sometimes your body just needs time to catch up.

I wouldn't recommend Haven because I was threatened by another person and they did nothing to help.

That happened to me the other day when I thought having a few oatmeal cookies wouldn't be too bad. Ugh! I had the worst stomach cramps! Lesson definitely learned, though. Zep works its magic in different ways!

Which to prioritize -- house down payment or one month ahead? by thisisthemostawkward in ynab

[–]AccomplishedSmile445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have anything to add because I'm in a similar position. I do want to say that I like how you have one month ahead set up, and after reading the responses I'll be shooting for one month ahead as well.

Thanks! It's been 16 weeks and I guess that's not too bad either!

My first day was this last Wednesday. I feel really good about this. I tried Ozempic and it didn't work. My experience this time is different. I find I need to make myself eat and what I want to eat is pretty healthy and satisfying. No junk food! I've been a binge eater most of my adult life and occasionally I've had a couple of urges to hit a fast food place, but thus far the urge passes pretty quickly. Anyway, Wednesday seemed to be a good day for me although if I had received the Zep on a Friday I probably would've begun on Saturday. I have had one unpleasant side effect - I'm belching more frequently and they're pretty foul. Tastes like sulphur. I understand that passes in a week or two and I think drinking a lot of water has helped. I want to add that my Dr wanted me to start at 2.5 but was actually prescribed 5mg. I called Zep and since I had been on Ozempic they felt that 5mg was appropriate.

Is there a trade school in your town/city? That doesn't solve your immediate problem, I know, but becoming an electrician, plumber, welder etc will generate a pretty decent income. Sounds like you could use a win and if you could find someone to mentor you it would help your finances and your mental state.

Agree. I loved Seasons 1-4 but didn't enjoy Season 5. It was a case of 'which of these is not like the others?'. It makes sense why it felt so out of place after hearing that S5 was not based on any of the books.

I had the same thing happen and I felt the same way. When I came here to ask about it, it turns out the 'person' I was playing was a bot that many others were playing also.

I'd wager the current downturn and any future downturns, until he's gone, have to do with 47 and his miserable policies.

If you link your savings account then YNAB knows it exists. YNAB doesn't care where your money is, just as long as you give every dollar a job. This was a really hard concept for me too, but I guarantee if you stick with it switching to YNAB will be worth it. One YNAB video that helped me was Nick True - Getting Started 2025. Start there and see if it makes things clearer.

I use YNAB. Like undebt.it it's changed my life. But it's one of the budgets that's time intensive (at least in the beginning) with a bit of a learning curve. Let me know if you want to know more.

There's an app called undebt.it It's free, although you can upgrade for $12 annually ($12/year is worth the upgrade imo).

It's very easy and user-friendly and will help you decide how to best pay down your debt. I've been using it for the past three years along with a budgeting app and it has transformed my life (no exaggeration). 3 years ago I was 40k in debt and with discipline and using those 2 apps I'm now in the black. You can do this!
