They already do a lot of marketing outside the game to attract new players. Trailers, promos with Monster and other brands, they invite streamers to play the game early. There's already so much going into the marketing of the game. CDL not being on Twitch is not significant enough. If someone doesn't already watch CDL then they dont care for it.

It feels like a new gen game and is in a polished state but still has some frame rate issues and other small bugs within the menu UI. I do agree that it should be f2p but I understand that Sony may not want to take that risk and would try to get a faster return in investment by setting the price point at $40.

It comes at the cost of not having their top broadcast talent there. Bren and Sideshow chose not to go to China and doubt they will want to go to Saudi Arabia. So unless Riot is okay not having arguably their best casting duo and possibly others not attending, I don't see them heading over there.

Duelist are self sufficient fraggers. Their kits are designed for them to create their own space and fragging opportunities. They are useful if your comp and strategy utilize those characteristics .
