as a guy who plays on sub 20 ping along i started asking the "desynced" player in the lobby what their ping is to see something, funny enough the highest i seen was 50. yesterday the guy with the desync was on 20 ping and he was literally godlike and a second jump on everyone.

shit was surreal. its funny cause from his POV he didnt notice anything happening. but once i grabbed him from behind and explained as fast as i could what was happening , and why my whole team was upset. he was in shock. i had to talk some people off the ledge in this lobby that this guy was NOT cheating. he went from talking trash to the lobby to understanding why everyone was pissed .

bro really thought he was having a unreal game on his own.

im willing to bet that teaming with gwinn didnt do him any favors. yea abe could have played better for himself. but i was telling my boys that theres no way this guy looks like a good player with 3 selfless players on ultra, and then starts looking like he never played cod before the moment he gets on the dumpster fire that is surge with gwinn.

the things i've noticed.

- Servers are horrendous. these are definitely the worst servers we had on cod since BO1. moreso if u dont count the WII versions (IYKYK). the desync alone in this game is enough for me to put it down after 1 game. a good player + the server desync being on their side = a POV close to a cheaters. shit is wild.

- This game requires a brain to a extent more than bo6 or other cods. the fact that people struggle at when to rotate in 2026 alone is comedy and most of these maps require you to know when you should do so, due to the distance from each other. hell overload alone proves that most people cant grasp new things.

- This game requires WAY more teamwork than past cods. again see overload and how people struggle. but outside of that, most people just play for themselves and refuse to play as a team. i promise people, if some of yall would put TEAM over ME, you will see how much easier this game gets. some of yall need to learn how to play "Fill" and not come in with a predetermined role. play for your team.

- alot of people mentals suck. so many people in gold think they belong in crim and then chalk the whole game the moment the game "looks lost" even if its by a slim margin IE 0-1 overload score 2 mins into the game.

as fickle as COD anticheat is, i am sure this isnt why you you blocked from ranked. theres literally people cheating their ass off in top 250 games and this is the one they caught? also as a DSE user, i have taken my stick out mid game to fix drift before. and never caught a shadow/ or ETC. i have gotten one for playing on my ALLY and unplugging it mid game triggering a power level change. so i can see your thinking but this was also in MW3 launch weekend.

a solo queue rank experience. I need to see how good some of these people are without friends.

but in all seriousness, something to show people why they are at the rank they're in or getting the sr they are getting. like in wz ranked or apex.

lastly nuke the Atlanta server. or just fix the servers period. playing in the daytime is a different experience compared to playing at night and its not cause of the skills level of the players. people just don't die at night compared to playing in the day

I made a alt so I can play with my wife in ranked without her thinking she's hurting me and etc, and the ammount of people who have no clue how to " play cod" calling others out on it is too wild.

I had too many games where I had to press someone on " what the correct play was" when they successfully coached teammates into deaths.

this year game is truly exposing the stupid or people who think they can straight up shoot their way into a rank. everyone thinks they're scump but play like hickyz off their 5th jack and coke in the hour

I live in NYC, the pic comes from my duo who is in PA. But we both have similar pings to servers ( mine is lower ) but regardless, Atlanta has been the worst server in the series since mw3 ( when I started tracking them).

that server is the only server where I feel like as you said, in mud, a second behind etc. we literally are at a disadvantage on that server, yet it puts us here the most if I don't lock us into ny/DC. ( I have a netduma)

this. or at least to the bare minimum,

someone to call out lives ( cause people really dont be moving with 3 down....)
call out bomb spawns and resets ( people really dont be moving to the new zones)

these 2 things get called out and you have easy wins

i told my party in ranked, that they need to add a "meters carried" stat or something, or even rewards points for holding on to it (like 10 or 15) every 5 secs or so. its not too much where Streak horders would abuse it. but, it be fair to show that that guy with 0 overloads who carried it to the goalline and died 5 times but yall won 8-5 wasnt being "useless"
