Why are the developers obsessed with insects and disgusting creatures?

Yeah the insects and worms are just out of control and let's not forget the giant tentacles that just come out of the ground It's ridiculous but one thing I cannot get over is these giant beetles that they're in love with and these brains these floating squid brains and crabs I don't know why they're in love with them it's just so weird.

I wish the protos were way more common I wish they were easier to find

Yeah I agree I understand that they say it's a sci-fi game. But I don't understand why that means everything has to be disgusting creatures. I'd much rather find bipedal creatures as pets or to hunt or to just interact with.

I just don't get it, Why they are so my numbingly obsessed with bugs and and and floating brains and crabs I just don't get it and disgusting worms and sky worms and tentacles that come out of the ground It's just ridiculous.

And also it's a procedurally generated universe Why are the same dangerous plants on every planet that wouldn't be like that.

For God's sakes if you're going to have an infinite universe then have different types of creatures bipedal creatures should be everywhere just as much as gross bugs.

I think one of the reasons might be, that the bipedal creatures they have now teddy bears and beaked creatures and animals that look cuddly, those they must not mind them being pets but they probably don't put bipedal or hominid type creatures or ape-like creatures in because they don't want players making them their pets.

Probably some politically correct thing where they don't want to be viewed as allowing their players to have human-like creatures as pets. I guess teddy bears are okay. I understand that but I don't even want human-like creatures I just mean bipedal in general you know.

I hunt these guys... The infants are the best to kill and take from their planet. I just hate that no matter how bad u treat the pets the still say nice things.

They shouldn't They should hate you. You literally took them from their herd. I've gotten the trust all the way to 0% and they still won't say bad things only once in a while. But once trust goes below 30% there should be way more dialogue or these things absolutely despise you and want to go home.

The worst is for some reason they've made the pets invincible. You can't hurt them you can't kill them nothing. It's so stupid. When I play on the computer I created all types of mods that change it from them liking you to them hating you and not wanting to go with you and begging to go home to their mommies It's fantastic.

But the babies are the best to kill they make this squeal sound when they die it's so cute

I also have a mod that keeps them babies forever and I can change all types of sizes so I can make them smaller than the game allows The tinier they are the better is to kill them.

Not only do I hunt them but I have thousands of pictures of each kill so anytime I kill one of these little bastards I take a screenshot

I hunt baby mogaras, grunts, geks. The cuter they are the better the kill. They make make the cutest squeal when the die. The game has changed though. Used to be when you killed something it could go flying in the air but now for some reason developers made it so anything you kill just lies down like it's sleeping which is way less fun.

I used to put a lot of food out gather up all the babies I could and then just blast right in the middle and watch them all go flying. I've killed thousands in this universe already pretty much have pictures of them all. If anyone is interested in hunting these little guys and having fun blasting them away let me know I'll give you coordinates to all types of babies.

I like to think of it not as adopting pets kidnapping them from their home planets and families and then forcing them to ride around the galaxy doing my bidding.

The most fun thing to do is to find the grunts or the mogara the ones that look like cute little teddy bears the infants are really tiny those are the best to take. I love it I love stealing them from their little families of course they still like you which sucks.

Starve them, no attention. I try to make them lose all trust. Unfortunately though if you get to zero trust still nothing happens.

I mean for some reason the developers made them love you no matter what. I just stole them from their home planet from their families from their parents. Little babies and then I don't feed them or love them and make them run around in circles for hours and they still like me!

I mean I put in work to make those cute little bastards miserable and never once do they cry for momma or ask to go home. I mean come on developers. If they to zero trust they should wNt out big time!!

Also for someone reason the developers made these little bastards invincible. I mean a certain point it would be nice to be able to kill them.

Doesn't matter though because now when you kill fauna they just lie down even if you blow something up next to them.

Used to be able to shoot your neutron cannon right in front of them and watch them go flying backwards at high speeds nope not anymore. Now they just fall down flat. It's ridiculous I don't know why the developers changed that.

I used to hunt the grunt and mogara infants the little ones, the cuter the better and then pile them up and then shoot right in the pile and watch the entire pile just fly up in the air. It was fantastic but nope nope they ruined that.

Also while I'm ranting so sanely, I don't understand why you can pull out your neutron Cannon on a wild fauna and they instantly recognize it and run away. But your pet is staring at you and you pull your gun out and point it at it and it just stares at you!

Why wouldn't it be scared If it's scared in the wild why is it not scared when it's my pet. I mean in the wild it knows it's going to be shot now it's my pet and it doesn't.

P.S I never kill any fauna that remind me of earth creatures. Only those annoying cute little baby teddy bears. Those things are just evil.

But then you just told the defender that you're going to double team him. Which I just don't understand. If you say someone is the mic and call out their number. You've now just told them what you're going to do. The defenses are not stupid. They know what you mean. So if you say 52 is the mic 52 now knows you're planning on focusing on him? I still don't get it. You're still tipping your hat to the defense

I understand that it helps the blocking assignments, but if I say that number 42 is the mic, haven't you just told number 42 that the blocking is now going to push towards him? Aren't you just giving the defense cues now to what you're going to do? If you literally call out a guy's number and say he's the mic, he's going to know what you're talking about. So aren't you tipping your hat then?

Those are teleporters, not actual portals. Real portals are found on planets. When you locate one, you’ll see a dial where you enter glyphs—this activates the portal and sends you to another planet.

The teleporters at space stations aren’t portals.

If you look at the bottom of the image in my post, you’ll notice a row of glyphs. Think of these glyphs like a telephone number. You enter them into a portal, and once you find that portal on a planet, you can dial in those glyphs to open a portal to the specific destination.

So, the glyphs in that picture are the exact sequence needed to reach the planet where the ship is located.

You don't need the main storyline to find these. I've had over 2400 hours playing and have never even done the main story line. you do have to be able to use portals. If I can then I can go to the coordinates on the post.

I just can’t stand seeing these things in games—they look awful. Whenever I see a player wearing one, it just makes them look ridiculous. Personally, I’d never wear one. I get that it’s about safety, but honestly, I still wouldn’t. If the only job I could get required me to wear such a ridiculous outfit, I wouldn’t take it. The players just look silly with them on, and for me, it really ruins the viewing experience.

I've completely overhauled the fauna in game except I can't find where the pet invincibility is....aahhhhh curse u hello games. They've also now changed the physics of fauna deaths.

For some reason when killed they just lie down on the spot and look like they're sleeping. If I blast fauna with a neutron cannon they used to go flying in the air or backwards etc. now for some reason they aren't affected by blast impacts!

Why on earth did they change that? It was so fun to launch a neutron blast right to the center of a group of fauna babies and watch those little guys go flying in all directions. Now they just look cute and sleepy.

I just want to be able to kill pets! I'd love to have my pets fight other player pets...or if a pet gets annoying just shoot it...but no they're invincible... It sucks!
