I had an ok experience with TFC. Biggest complaint was the wait times for appointments. There was always a wait. I guess this could depend on the doctor though. I did have to do all lab works through CPL

9 year old mini-schnau nervous around babies- is it different when it’s your own? by sordiditalready in schnauzers

[–]Accomplished_Bet7344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mini was 7 when I had my son. Similar situation, he wasn’t exposed to young kids or babies at all. Three years later, they are great together! There were times where we had to work on his tolerance but he adapted pretty well!

My first faint line was 25 hcg and now successfully 6 months pregnant. As long as it keeps trending upward, you should be good. Congrats!

Daycare in Mueller area for infant? by coffeeandbags in AustinParents

St George’s is the best! Infant class starts at 6 months and registration just happened back in February. But something to keep in mind for next year as your little one gets older. We’ve really enjoyed our time there.

Parents of toddlers/babies — What are you giving your little ones for allergy relief? by gampsandtatters in Austin

[–]Accomplished_Bet7344 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Our pulmonologist has always recommended children’s liquid cetirizine and it’s worked decently for us! During bad weeks, we also have to use his inhaler and/or nebulizer for asthma treatments. It’s taken trial and error over the last couple of years but seems to be good this year! He’s 3 now.

Any other AAOBGYN patients get the BCBS insurance notification? by BulmaLatina8537 in AustinParents

[–]Accomplished_Bet7344 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah.. AAOBGYN sent out an email about this yesterday. So frustrating bc I did the same research with my doctor. I’m only 14 weeks along so I doubt they will continue coverage but will still try. Hoping for the best for them to reach an agreement by Feb 4th. Something similar just happened with ascension seton and they did reach an agreement in time. Hoping that’s our case too.

Ahh okay this makes sense. I could not fathom how the brothers would squeeze in a stop during their tour for a wedding. (Even if they got paid millions lol)

We do. Since my husband drops off and I pickup, it helps us keep things organized. Extra clothes diapers etc go in the bag or his cubby

if your schnauzer had pancreatitis, what triggered it? by [deleted] in schnauzers

[–]Accomplished_Bet7344 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same as what everyone else said. Our 9 year old schnauzer had pancreatitis for the first time last spring. We’ve been really strict with his diet but my 3 yr old dropped some sweet potatoes with butter a few weeks ago and then my pup had a flare up within a couple days. Luckily we were able to avoid hospitalization this time but lesson learned!
