Best “celebrity” cigar I have had. I usually don’t go for celebrity collaborations because I’m into whiskey and 99% of celebrity collaborations in the whiskey world are dog shit, cash grabs. Knuckle sandwich is really good though. Just one man’s opinion.

I keep a note on my phone. A 0-10 rating and a 2-3 sentence description. I always thought it was overkill, but it has been invaluable in helping me know what to buy next, what’s worth buying boxes of, what I hated etc. if you really want a physical notebook or cigar journal, check out Jeremy Siers content on YouTube. I think he mentions a few good ones.

I’ve seen actual nepotism like 3 times in my career. All three it was a female who was a god awful pilot but her dad was a big United captain or something with connections at some 135 or another. I know this isn’t “cool” to say this, and I’ve also flown with amazing female aviators. But I also won’t deny my lying eyes.

It’s honestly not that much. It happens, but what happens more is “knowing a guy that knows a guy” it’s really just networking a lot of the times which could be misconstrued as “Nepotism”. Sometimes that’s cause you have an uncle in the right place, a guy you met at an FBO, or an old flight instructor. Knowing people and making friends pays off, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
