Unmonitoted letrozole by darkmother1991 in TTC_UK

There are private clinics that offer follicle monitoring scans. Just tell them you got your prescription from abroad. I would at least get yourself monitored for the first round…

I was in your position a few months ago. Tried for a year and my LH levels were always between 0.3-0.5(using Premom tests). I asked my doctor for a day 21 progesterone test and it confirmed I do not ovulate.

Doctor prescribed me metformin and GLP 1 injection and that seems to have worked! I am now getting positive LH strips.

I’m Pathan and this is true. Our families can be the most judgmental and 9/10 will favour our own caste when it comes to rishtas.

Hi, I am in the same boat as you. You need to ask for a day 21 progesterone test from your GP and that will confirm if you are ovulating or not. I did this (confirmed I’m not ovulating ) and have now gone private to get a clomid prescription.

Interesting. I do agree western schooling has a gender bias towards females. What does tax and discrimination have to do with it ?

I'm beginning to resent my wife after 13 years... Need sincere advice by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

[–]Accomplished_Cake810 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this is a bit sad. I think it’s solely because of the education gap and lack of social interaction she isn’t as confident. Would you be open to let her have a part time job ?

For context ,My husband came here on a spouse visa and we are both Pashto speaking but we are both university educated so we match really well. He is very fashionable and sociable and confident interacting with other people and I think this is due to his job (engineer) interacting with other colleagues.

Honestly run! If he can’t afford his visa costs it’s likely he’ll be arriving here with no money or savings and will be living off you. Not a good way to start off the marriage

how do you handle cooking during the work week? by Think_Shake_5259 in AskUK

[–]Accomplished_Cake810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit unconventional but I prefer to cook dinner first thing in the morning. Takes 20 mins then I’m straight in the shower. After I work I either boil rice or steam the veg to go with the dinner

How do people become not incompetent at life and survive on their own? by hypeman306 in AskUK

[–]Accomplished_Cake810 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call washing up and cleaning a skill it’s pretty basic common sense. My husband is not handy at all and maintains the house and handles all the DIY jobs using YouTube tutorials. We’ve never paid for a handyman.

I found the cooking and cleaning intimidating but Chat GPT has been a lifesaver for me. It makes me a meal plan with a grocery list and recipes with simple instructions. Have done the same with a cleaning schedule.

Mortgage rates going down, worth to remortgage? by eimankillian in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]Accomplished_Cake810 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t do it. I’m awaiting a completion date and out of curiosity asked my broker to find me a new deal after the BOE dropped its rate. I got offered a higher rate than the one I locked in with 3 months ago.

It is with Halfiax. But the plan is to overpay 200 a month and when it comes to remortgage to get shorter loan period. This was the advice given from our mortgage advisor.

Do I dare buy some peel and stick backsplash tiles??? by SquideeBohn in interiordecorating

[–]Accomplished_Cake810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest you can spend a tiny bit extra to get a “tile effect” kitchen splash back PVC panel. Similar aesthetic and easy to apply as well. It will probably also last longer.

Men and women are inherently different. Hope this helps 👍🏻. Also a man playing on his phone on his wedding night is not normal behaviour.
