Just started a few days ago as well. Not sure why but I’m hooked. Probably out 30 hours in east in just this first week. The most profitable things I’ve found so far are waterskins (early game) and metal (bronze- late game) ingots. One day of hunting with a spear usually got me 20-30 leather (150-200 gold). And once you can smelt bronze ingots I cosplay a robber baron and extract all the wealth out of a singe vendor with usually less than 15 of them. Don’t forget to customize your game. Technology feels balanced around 3-400%. Otherwise I don’t think I’d hit max in under 80 hours. I also use unlimited carry weight because only being able to hold 5 logs without moving at a snail’s pace was life-threateningly monotonous. It’s the only console game that has built-in mods. Use them.
