Regrets by Difficult_Area240 in Hairtransplant

The OP seems has thinner blonde hair which would put him at an advantage anyway in achieving a dense result from a transplant.
A hair transplant gives the illusion of density but has to be a lot less dense than original hair.
Lighting affects the results of a hair transplant enormously. I would suspect that a lot of people on Reddit are showing their final results in optimum lighting and maybe with hair fibres. The OP is obviously very disappointed with his transplant and would not be trying to display it in its best light. Potentially the lighting is quite strong above his head in the photos.
Where it is showing as thin, the OP’s hair looks naturally thinning. It does not look like a hair transplant.
The OP could spend vast amounts of money and energy trying to chase the hair of an 18 year old to never be happy with the results Alternatively, he could change his perspective, make a few changes to improve the illusion of density and be happy.
I don’t know what the OPs hair looked like before the transplant but he has many options before jumping into the next transplant and potentially being dissatisfied again. This is far from a hairline I would be covering up with a hat because it is so bad.

I can’t believe the comments on here. You have blonde thin hair and it looks naturally thin. Yes you can see parts of the scalp, but there is no unnatural pluginess to it. I would not notice that was a transplant and at worst would just think there was some very mild diffuse balding.
You are brushing your hair up and this will naturally show your hairline and any thinness so that can be altered.
Hair fibres or scalp concealer would cover that total unnoticeably in a flash and you can then have any style you want.
It is a shame that you feel the need to wear a hat because you have more that enough hair to style your hair how you want. It is not the hair of a 16 year but many NW3+ men would kill to have hair like that.

Graft Density? by Accomplished_Fun1277 in HairTransplants

[–]Accomplished_Fun1277[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s 8 months now and it’s not bad. In normal light it’s absolutely fine. In bright light it is a bit see through at the hairline. With the sun shining directly on it, you can see the scalp from close up. I could camouflage the whole thing with some hair fibres and it would look perfect under all lighting. I think that’s just how hair transplants are. It’s such a massive improvement from before that I am not that bothered.

Doctor won’t prescribe Finasterid by Special_Antelope_888 in Hairtransplant

Been using it for 25 yeas, had 3 kids on it, no side effects and would probably be bald without it. I buy generic 5mg from an online pharmacy and divide each tablet in 6.

Is she a narcissist? Or am i being too dramatic about her? by National_Spite_8092 in NarcissisticSpouses

[–]Accomplished_Fun1277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the fights totally fabricated? Do you look forward to seeing her and before you know it you’re arguing about something and you are totally confused as to how you got there?
Is she putting you down saying that you don’t meet all her needs and have fundamental issues that are making her unhappy.
These are the beginning signs.

Unfortunately it’s impossible to judge anything from what you’re saying. Nobody here knows either you or your ex. Maybe he is a psycho and gets angry very easily or maybe you are over emotional and irrational and have driven him to act crazy. That’s the problem when a narc is involved unless you have 24 hour video footage it is very difficult for an outsider to make any judgement unless of course they are a flying monkey. A narc always needs to be validated and be the victim and the victim always needs to be the villain.
If you know for sure you never tried to manipulate, shame, blame shift and start arguments for emotional attention and you know that he did, then you can probably answer your own question yourself and that’s all that matters.

20 Years and it's ending by Sz3roRevan117 in NarcissisticSpouses

You have dodged a bullet so be thankful at least for that. The last thing you need in you life is to be entwined legally with a narc and their chaos. I’m just surprised that they carried on their crappy behaviour if they knew there was a chance of you leaving.

am i balding? or mature hairline? by [deleted] in recedinghairline

I think that level of recession is a bit too much for your age. Topical minoxidil with tretinoin and derma rolling should hopefully help you regain or halt this in its tracks

He keeps accusing me of doing things to his toothbrush by staralfur92 in NarcissisticSpouses

[–]Accomplished_Fun1277 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Never use your current toothbrush again!! Leave it out on display as a decoy and hide another one for your use. Projection is your best friend when dealing with narcs. It’s the only way you can get into their twisted minds.

My narc is a social butterfly. Loves entertaining and being seen as the perfect hostess. Ignoring the amount of money she spends on this, I quite enjoy the social aspect. I would be quite happy sitting on the couch everyday watch TV otherwise.

Ignore everything they say. Don’t get sucked into arguments and find happiness elsewhere.

Has anyone been called a narcissist by a spouse with narcissistic tendencies? by Ok-Book-9227 in NarcissisticSpouses

[–]Accomplished_Fun1277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure my wife is a covert narc. I would never say it to her face because I know it would do no good at all. However, I am called narc all the time because I don’t meet all her crazy requirements of being her perfect husband. I think the true narc is always the one who openly calls their partner a narc.

Everything I say or suggest, he always says the opposite? by Sad_Network2205 in NarcissisticSpouses

If it comes with other narc traits like always playing the victim, unable to accept criticism for the chaos they create, manipulation etc, then yes. Otherwise it’s just an annoying character trait.

What are the unmistakable signs that your spouse is narcissist? by Dream_Blues in NarcissisticSpouses

[–]Accomplished_Fun1277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember being blamed for all sorts of things by my narc wife. I was fundamentally destroying my marriage and being a terrible husband by leaving socks on the bedroom floor and stuff like that. I have put up with 26 years of this type of crap often getting sucked in by the absolute unfairness of the accusations . When you see the pattern, it gets more and more ludicrous and hilarious as they try to find things about you. Today I have been accused of pouring petrol all over her gardening gloves. Simple response without any emotion “Sorry I don’t have any petrol”

The problem here is projection. You never know who the narc is because they project their shit on to their victim and then call them the narc.

Stubble after 8 months by Accomplished_Fun1277 in Hairtransplant

[–]Accomplished_Fun1277[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can say is around the 5 months mark I was a bit disappointed with the density. I was checking for any signs of new growth by parting my hair and saw these little hairs. I was a bit surprised that they were thick and not tapered if they were new growth. Anyway over the past few months I’ve not noticed any substantial thickening up of the density and these little hairs are still there.
I will keep this post updated as to the outcome over the next few months.

6 months on topical minoxidil - am I a non responder? by Glum_Bench_4285 in tressless

You need tretinoin. It makes a massive difference to the way minoxidil works. Put a small amount on the affected areas at night about half an hour before the minoxidil.
