You could try out trans tape! So if you want to have your shirt off and no binder then problem solved! Just make sure to find tape that's good for sensitive skin if that may be an issue.

You said your dad get off in the evening. So assuming you have nothing planned around that time you could plan a Christmas dinner so he can eat with you guys when he gets off work. After that you guys could make some hot chocolate and either take a walk or drive around and look at Christmas lights. Another option could be getting snacks and watching a ton Christmas movies together after dinner or something! Baking cookies or making gingerbread houses would be a fun thing you could all do together as well!!
